3 1 When do these Terms and Conditions apply to me? You agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions when you or an Additional Cardholder first use or activate your new Card or authorise a transaction on your Account. You agree that these Terms and Conditions apply to any Macquarie Reward Points or Qantas Frequent Flyer Points you or any Additional Cardholder earn by using a Card. The use of your Card is also subject to separate Conditions of Use which were provided with your Card. Some of the words used in these Terms and Conditions are defined in the Conditions of Use. A current copy of each of the Conditions of Use and these Terms and Conditions are available at macquarie.com.au/cards 2 How does the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program work? The Macquarie Bank Rewards Program consists of two rewards options: Macquarie Rewards or Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards. You can elect to either earn Macquarie Reward Points or Qantas Frequent Flyer Points in connection with Purchases made using your Card by linking your Account to either Macquarie Rewards or Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards. You can only link your Account to Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards and earn Qantas Frequent Flyer Points if you are a Macquarie Visa Platinum Cardholder. You will earn Macquarie Reward Points or Qantas Frequent Flyer Points whenever you use your Card or Account to purchase eligible goods or services, subject to the Conditions of Use and these Terms and Conditions. You will also earn Macquarie Reward Points or Qantas Frequent Flyer Points whenever any of your Additional Cardholders use their Card or your Account to purchase eligible goods or services, subject to the Conditions of Use and these Terms and Conditions. We do not manufacture or supply rewards and make no commitments regarding the supply of particular rewards. However, we will use due care and skill to: process and maintain your rewards membership manage relationships with redemption partners, Qantas and bonus partners procure the supply of rewards to you. 1

4 3 Macquarie Rewards a. How do I earn Macquarie Reward Points? If you elect to link your Account to Macquarie Rewards, you will earn Macquarie Reward Points as set out below. You earn Macquarie Reward Points for each Australian dollar amount of eligible Purchases made on your Account as follows: Macquarie Visa Platinum Card 1.25 Macquarie Reward Points per dollar Macquarie Visa Gold Card 1 Macquarie Reward Point per dollar. You may also receive additional bonus Macquarie Reward Points in connection with Special Promotions offered from time to time. We may change the way you earn Macquarie Reward Points from time to time. We will try to give you adequate notice of any change. Bonus partners, redemption partners and special offers may also change from time to time and we will try to give you adequate notice of any material changes and you can refer to our website for current details at any time. Macquarie Reward Points will be automatically credited to your Account. You may then use your Macquarie Reward Points to select an available reward. b. How long do I have to use my Macquarie Reward Points? Your Macquarie Reward Points will not expire as long as your Account is open and operates in accordance with the Conditions of Use. If you close your Account or die, your participation in Macquarie Rewards is automatically cancelled and all Macquarie Reward Points not redeemed are forfeited unless redeemed within any time period specified by us. Your Macquarie Reward Points may not be transferred to another person for any reason. 2

5 c. What are the rewards available to me if I am enrolled in Macquarie Rewards? Rewards are subject to availability but we will inform you via our website regarding the rewards that may be available at any time and any specific conditions on which rewards are available. All gift cards, vouchers and certificates are subject to the standard terms and conditions and expiry dates of the participating redemption partner. d. How do I redeem a reward if I am enrolled in Macquarie Rewards? Only you may claim a reward, if you have sufficient Macquarie Reward Points. Your right to redeem rewards may not be transferred to another person, including an Additional Cardholder. You may redeem selected rewards by using Points Plus Pay. To redeem a reward by using Points Plus Pay you will need to accumulate the required number of Macquarie Reward Points and pay the required top up amount by using your Card. If you redeem a reward, you cannot change or cancel that redemption nor can you exchange or return a reward to obtain a re-credit of the relevant Macquarie Reward Points. Certain rewards may require you to pay a delivery charge. To find out if there will be a delivery charge associated with your redemption contact the Macquarie Bank Rewards Centre on Normally allow up to 28 days for processing and delivery of all rewards redemptions. We may, at any time, and without notice, withdraw or substitute any reward for another reward or alter the number of Macquarie Reward Points required to claim a reward. Disputes about missing Macquarie Reward Points will not be accepted more than three months after the date of the relevant Transaction. 3

6 e. Who is responsible for the rewards in Macquarie Rewards? Except as required by law, neither we nor our agents are liable for the availability, quality or fitness for purpose of any rewards or goods or services redeemed using your Macquarie Reward Points. Therefore, if you have any complaints about rewards or goods or services you should discuss them directly with the supplier. Neither we nor our agents are responsible if you cannot redeem a reward for reasons beyond our or any of our agents control or the failure of a bonus partner or redemption partner to honour its obligations under Macquarie Rewards for any reason. f. How do I keep track of my Macquarie Reward Points and reward entitlements? You can review your Macquarie Rewards statement at macquarie.com.au/cards, or you can contact the Macquarie Bank Rewards Centre to find out your current Macquarie Reward Points balance. Alternatively, your Macquarie Reward Points balance will be available on your monthly Card statement. Macquarie Reward Points can be used to redeem rewards as soon as they have been processed and have been added to your Macquarie Reward Points record. We may adjust your total Macquarie Reward Points (backdating the adjustment if necessary) if Macquarie Reward Points have been incorrectly credited or debited for any reason. We will advise you of any adjustment in your next statement. g. Is there a limit to the amount of Macquarie Reward Points that I can earn? We may, at our absolute discretion, choose to limit the maximum number of Macquarie Reward Points that may be awarded in any one year commencing on the anniversary of Account opening, but will not limit the number of Macquarie Reward Points to less than the Macquarie Reward Points earned from the following spend: 4

7 (i) Gold Account: $130,000 on eligible Purchases (ii) Platinum Account: $200,000 on eligible Purchases. You can find out the current limit by viewing macquariebankrewards.com.au h. Macquarie Reward Points themselves do not have monetary value Macquarie Reward Points do not have any monetary value. Macquarie Reward Points and rewards may not be transferred, sold, bequeathed or inherited. Macquarie Reward Points can only be redeemed for rewards and are not convertible into cash, except where we specifically offer a cashback redemption option. Macquarie Reward Points are only used to record your entitlement to redeem a reward. i. Additional reward opportunities for Platinum Accountholders Macquarie Visa Platinum Cardholders are also entitled to participate in MyCurrency rewards, subject to the qualifications set out in these Terms and Conditions. To be eligible a Cardholder must have a minimum of 150,000 Macquarie Reward Points available in their rewards account and the value of the item requested needs to be a minimum of $1,000. We will use our best endeavours to attempt to source any item reasonably requested as part of MyCurrency rewards. When using MyCurrency rewards, you will need to provide to us details of your redemption request. If, in our sole discretion, we are able to fulfil your request we will tell you the supplier, the estimated delivery time and the cost (in Macquarie Reward Points or payment and Macquarie Reward Points combined by using Points Plus Pay). We may, in our absolute discretion, not source any request for a reward which is not consistent with our corporate standards or cannot be fulfilled due to unavailability or is deemed not appropriate as a reward. 5

8 4 Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards a. How do I earn Qantas Frequent Flyer Points? You can only link your Account to Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards and earn Qantas Frequent Flyer Points if you are a Macquarie Visa Platinum Cardholder. If you are a Macquarie Visa Platinum Cardholder and you elect to link your Account to Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards, you will earn one (1) Qantas Frequent Flyer Point for each Australian dollar amount of eligible Purchases made on your Account. See item 6(b) below for information as to when you will not earn Qantas Frequent Flyer Points. Additional Cardholders may not separately link their Card to Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards. You may also receive additional bonus Qantas Frequent Flyer Points in connection with Special Promotions offered by Macquarie from time to time. Qantas Frequent Flyer Points earned on eligible Purchases made on your Account by Additional Cardholders may only be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account and not the Qantas Frequent Flyer Account of any Additional Cardholders. In order for Qantas Frequent Flyer Points earned through Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards to be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account and redeemed through the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program, you will need to be or become a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program. A joining fee applies if you are not already a member of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program. Disputes regarding missing Qantas Frequent Flyer Points will not be accepted more than three (3) months after the date of the relevant Transaction. 6

Qantas Frequent Flyer Program Membership Membership of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program and the earning and redemption of Qantas Frequent Flyer Points is subject to the terms and conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program. Membership of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program is available only to individuals. Any Qantas Frequent Flyer Points credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account are governed by and are subject to the terms and conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program. We are not responsible for the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program in any way. If Qantas makes changes to the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program we will not be responsible for the impact it may have on you. For details, visit qantas.com/frequentflyer. A current copy of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program terms and conditions is available at qantas.com/terms c. Your Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number Before any Qantas Frequent Flyer Points can be credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account, you must supply us with a valid Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number. The name on your Card and Account must be identical to the name on your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account. We will request your Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number at the time you elect to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer Points (ie when you elect to link your Account to Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards). If you do not supply us with a valid Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number when you elect to link your Card to Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards, we will record your accumulation of Qantas Frequent Flyer Points for a period of 12 months from the date you requested to link your Card to Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards. Your Qantas Frequent Flyer points balance will be available upon request from us. However they will not be able to be transferred to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account until you have supplied a valid Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number to us. If, after 12 months you still have not provided us with a valid Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number you will: forfeit all Qantas Frequent Flyer Points you have accrued by using your Card in the previous 12 month period begin to accrue new Qantas Frequent Flyer Points on eligible Purchases following the forfeiture. 7

10 It is your obligation to ensure that we have the correct Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number on file for you and that the name on your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account matches the name on your Account. Please contact us if your personal information changes, if we do not have your correct Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number or if your Qantas Frequent Flyer Points are not being credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account. d. Do my Qantas Frequent Flyer Points expire? Once the Qantas Frequent Flyer Points are credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account, the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program terms and conditions (available at qantas.com/ terms) will govern when those Qantas Frequent Flyer Points will expire. e. Is there a limit to the amount of Qantas Frequent Flyer Points that I can earn? We may, at our absolute discretion, choose to limit the maximum number of Qantas Frequent Flyer Points that may be awarded in any one year commencing on the anniversary of Account opening or opt in to Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards (as the case may be), but will not limit the number of Qantas Frequent Flyer Points that may be earned in that year to less than the Qantas Frequent Flyer Points earned from $200,000 spend on eligible Purchases. This limit will be re-set on the anniversary of your enrolment in Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards. f. Are there any fees payable for electing to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer Points in the Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards? A non-refundable annual Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards enrolment fee may be payable if you elect to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer Points in connection with the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program. This will be in addition to any annual fee payable in connection with your Account. If applicable, the non-refundable annual enrolment fee will be added to your Statement on the date that you elect to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer Points in the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program and then annually on the anniversary of that date whilst you are enrolled in Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards in the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program. 8

11 The fee amount is set out in your Offer document, or if you are an existing Cardholder, will be disclosed to you at the time that you elect to link your account to Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards. A list of current fees is available at macquarie.com. au/mgl/au/personal/credit-cards/rewards/platinum-visa within the FAQs section. g. How do I redeem Qantas Frequent Flyer Points? Qantas Frequent Flyer Points can only be redeemed once they have been credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account. Qantas Frequent Flyer Points can only be redeemed through the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program and only in accordance with the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program terms and conditions. For more information on the redemption options for your Qantas Frequent Flyer Points, visit qantas.com/usingpoints h. How do I keep track of my Qantas Frequent Flyer Points? The Qantas Frequent Flyer Points that you have accrued in the Statement Period will appear on your monthly Card statement or you can view the current Statement Period balance by visiting macquarie.com.au/cards. To view the total number of Qantas Frequent Flyer Points you have earned using your Card, you will need to log in to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account at qantas.com/login We may adjust your number of Qantas Frequent Flyer Points (backdating the adjustment if necessary) either earned with us during the current Statement Period, or request Qantas to adjust the number of Qantas Frequent Flyer Points from your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account if Qantas Frequent Flyer Points have been incorrectly credited or debited for any reason (including where an eligible Purchase is reversed). i. Crediting Qantas Frequent Flyer Points to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account If we have received your valid Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number, the Qantas Frequent Flyer Points accrued during a Statement Period will be notified to Qantas who will add these to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account, usually within five business days of the end of that Statement Period. 9

12 If we have not received your valid Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number, or if the Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number or the name registered with your Account is different to the Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number or the name associated with your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account, when we attempt to allocate your accrued Qantas Frequent Flyer Points to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account, Qantas will notify us that they do not hold a Qantas Frequent Flyer Account matching your details. The Qantas Frequent Flyer Points will be credited back to your Account and the number of Qantas Frequent Flyer Points accumulated on your Account will again be displayed. You will need to contact either Qantas or us to provide or correct the Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number or the membership name so that your Account and your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account contain identical details, to enable Qantas to add accrued Qantas Frequent Flyer Points to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account. j. Qantas Frequent Flyer Points themselves do not have monetary value Qantas Frequent Flyer Points do not have any monetary value. What happens if you cease to be a Qantas Frequent Flyer Member? If you cease to be a Qantas Frequent Flyer Member, it is your responsibility to contact our call centre to request a Rewards Switch to Macquarie Rewards. As we notify Qantas of any accumulated Qantas Frequent Flyer Points at the end of each Statement Period, any Qantas Frequent Flyer Points accumulated on your Account at the time you cease to be a Qantas Frequent Flyer Member will be forfeited at the time of the Rewards Switch request. On termination or cancellation of your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account, your Qantas Frequent Flyer Points will be dealt with in accordance with the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program terms and conditions. 10

Privacy If you choose to link your Card to Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards, you acknowledge and authorise: (i) that we may provide your personal information to Qantas Airways Limited (and any related body corporate of Qantas) and any company, organisation or person which operates, or supplies goods or services to, the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program for the purposes of marketing, planning, product development and administration of or under the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program and for us to seek from and exchange with such organisations personal information about you (ii) Qantas or us to contact you if required to obtain your Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number or to discuss your membership status. 11

14 5 Switching between Macquarie Rewards and Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards You can only switch your Account between Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards and Macquarie Rewards if you are a Macquarie Visa Platinum Cardholder. If you hold a Macquarie Visa Platinum Card, you may switch between earning Macquarie Reward Points and Qantas Frequent Flyer Points (or vice versa) by contacting the Macquarie Bank Rewards Centre on and requesting a Rewards Switch from Macquarie Rewards to Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards (or vice versa). You may request one Rewards Switch per Account without incurring a fee in each 12 month period following the issue of your Card and your enrolment in the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program. A fee will be applied to your Account for each subsequent Rewards Switch request. The fee applicable to a Rewards Switch will be set out in the Offer document sent to you with your Card, or you can ask us when you contact the Macquarie Bank Rewards Centre. Macquarie Reward Points and Qantas Frequent Flyer Points are not convertible into cash except in the case of Macquarie Reward Points where we may specifically offer a cashback redemption option, and cannot be converted from one form into the other. If you request a Rewards Switch, you will, one business day after the date of the Rewards Switch request, stop earning points under your old rewards program. You will start earning points under your new rewards program on all eligible Purchases on the business day after you make the Rewards Switch request. If your Rewards Switch request is made on a day which falls immediately after a weekend or public holiday, you will earn points under your new rewards program on eligible Purchases Transactions which occurred on the immediately preceding weekend and/or public holiday. Macquarie Reward Points are not transferable to Qantas Frequent Flyer Points and Qantas Frequent Flyer Points are not transferable to Macquarie Reward Points. 12

15 If you request a Rewards Switch from Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards to Macquarie Rewards, any Qantas Frequent Flyer Points accrued up to the date of the Rewards Switch request will be notified to Qantas who will add these to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account, usually within five business days of the end of that Statement Period. Your Qantas Frequent Flyer Points remain subject to the terms and conditions of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program available at qantas.com/terms If you request a Rewards Switch from Macquarie Rewards to Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards, any Macquarie Reward Points earned up to the date of the Rewards Switch request will be retained. You will be able to redeem these Macquarie Reward Points in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. 13

16 6 Administration a. How do I communicate with you? You can contact us by calling the Macquarie Bank Rewards Centre on We will write to you at your postal address please inform Macquarie Card Services if you change your address, as all correspondence will be sent to this address. b. Are there situations where we will not award Macquarie Reward Points or Qantas Frequent Flyer Points? Macquarie Reward Points and Qantas Frequent Flyer Points are not earned in respect of the following amounts that may be charged to your Account: GST and government charges interest and other bank fees and charges (including any GST payable on any of these) Cash Advances Special Promotions such as balance transfers Transactions made in operating a business or in connection with business expenditure Transactions that are reversed (refunds) Payments for credit card protection insurance. Spending on these items on your Card will not be eligible Purchases. We reserve the right to suspend or exclude you from participation or continuing to participate in the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program if: (i) you are in breach of the Conditions of Use or these Macquarie Bank Rewards Program Terms and Conditions (ii) your Account is suspended, cancelled or terminated. 14

17 In this event, if you are enrolled in Macquarie Rewards, your Macquarie Reward Points balance will show as nil. Subject to these Terms and Conditions, you will continue to accrue Macquarie Reward Points on your Account during this period. If you are enrolled in Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards, any accrued Qantas Frequent Flyer Points which have not yet been credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account will be retained by us until your Account is no longer in breach of the Conditions of Use, suspended or cancelled. You will continue to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer Points on your Account during this period. We reserve the right to request Qantas to reverse any crediting of Qantas Frequent Flyer Points to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account if any eligible Purchase Transation is reversed and the number of Qantas Frequent Flyer Points that would otherwise have accrued on your Account is subsequently reduced. c. My responsibility to pay any costs You are responsible to pay for any tax liability (including any GST that may be payable), stamp duty or other duty or government charges in connection with the receipt of Macquarie Reward Points, Qantas Frequent Flyer Points or a reward. d. Changes to the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program Acting reasonably, we may, at any time, and without notice, vary the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program and/or these Terms and Conditions. We may make changes to these Terms and Conditions, Macquarie Reward Points, Qantas Frequent Flyer Points (as they apply to the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program) and any applicable fees, including changes to: add, withdraw or substitute any other benefit offered from time to time alter the earn rate of Macquarie Reward Points or Qantas Frequent Flyer Points in relation to eligible Purchases alter the fees payable under the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program. 15

18 If we make changes to these Terms and Conditions we will use our best efforts to give you at least 30 days written notice. If you are not satisfied with any change or variation to the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program or for any other reason want to withdraw from the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program, you may terminate your participation in the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program immediately by giving us notice to that effect in writing, or by contacting our call centre on If it is not reasonably possible to provide you with the notice period of any changes above (for example if regulatory requirements require us to make changes immediately), we will provide you as much notice as we reasonably can. The most up to date version of these Terms and Conditions are always available at macquarie.com.au/cards, or upon request to us. (i) Termination or suspension of Macquarie Rewards We may discontinue Macquarie Rewards at any time at our discretion. We will notify you as soon as practicable of the termination and you will have 30 days from the date of termination to redeem your Macquarie Reward Points. (ii) Termination or suspension of Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards We give no warranty as to the continuing availability of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards as its continuing availability depends on our arrangements with the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program. If reasonably necessary for business reasons, we may terminate or suspend Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards at any time. We will give you 60 days notice of such termination or suspension, where we reasonably can. If we terminate or suspend the ability to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer Points in connection with the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program (by suspending or terminating Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards), you will continue to earn Qantas Frequent Flyer Points on your Card during any notice period in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. Upon the expiry of any notice period, you will no longer earn Qantas Frequent Flyer Points and your Account will no longer be linked to your Qantas 16

19 Frequent Flyer Account. You will still be able to redeem any Qantas Frequent Flyer Points you have previously earned in accordance with the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program terms and conditions. Following the expiry of any notice period, you will be automatically enrolled in Macquarie Rewards and will begin earning Macquarie Reward Points on eligible Purchases in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. If Qantas ceases to operate the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program and/or has gone into liquidation or other forms of administration, the balance of any Qantas Frequent Flyer Points that you have earned in connection with your Card, but which have not been credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account, will be forfeited. Qantas Frequent Flyer Points already credited to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account will be dealt with in accordance with the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program terms and conditions and otherwise as specified by Qantas. Qantas Frequent Flyer Points accrued within the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program have no monetary value on termination or suspension of Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards. e. Except as required by law, we and our rewards providers: make no express or implied warranty or representation in connection with the rewards (including with respect to type, quality, standard or fitness for any purpose) are not liable for any loss you suffer (including consequential loss) arising in connection with a reward (including a failure to provide a reward, its loss, theft or destruction) are not liable for any loss you suffer (including consequential loss) in connection with our negligence or our breaching a term, warranty or condition in relation to the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program. If we or our rewards providers are liable for a breach of these Terms and Conditions, then, to the full extent permitted by law, our liability will exclude any indirect or consequential loss you may suffer. To the full extent permitted by law, we limit our liability to you in relation to goods and services acquired by way of the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program. To the full extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss you suffer (including any losses, costs or expenses) in connection with: the operation of the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program your redemption of Qantas Frequent Flyer Points for flights or other goods and services offered by Qantas any complaint or dispute you may have with Qantas any unredeemed Qantas Frequent Flyer Points in the event that Qantas ceases to carry on business or conduct the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program as these events are outside of our reasonable control. We may not exclude our liability as set out above in this section, if any losses, costs or expenses have been caused by our own negligence or default. 18

21 7 Interpretation In these Terms and Conditions all defined terms have the same meaning as in the Macquarie Credit Cards Conditions of Use booklet. Additional defined terms are as follows: Macquarie Bank Rewards Centre means the centre operated by us or our agent to handle the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program statement enquiries and process requests for rewards. Macquarie Bank Rewards Program means the rewards program operated by us on these Terms and Conditions and as set out in promotional material, as amended from time to time. Macquarie Reward Points means reward points earned in Macquarie Rewards by eligible Purchases made on your Account. Macquarie Rewards means the loyalty program operated by us and offered to you as an option in the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program. Qantas means Qantas Airways Limited (ABN ). Qantas Frequent Flyer Account means your Qantas Frequent Flyer Program membership account established and administered by Qantas under the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program which you have elected to link to your Card. Qantas Frequent Flyer Membership Number means the membership number to your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account administered by Qantas under the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program. Qantas Frequent Flyer Points means rewards points in the Qantas Frequent Flyer Program accrued on your Qantas Frequent Flyer Account by eligible Purchases made on your Account. Qantas Frequent Flyer Program means the program established and operated by Qantas (or a related body corporate of Qantas) and governed by the terms and conditions of the program issued by Qantas from time to time. 19

22 Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards means the loyalty program operated by us and offered to you as an option in the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program. Redemption Partner means us or any other person who agrees to provide rewards or bonuses in connection with the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program. Rewards Switch means a request to us to switch between Macquarie Rewards and Qantas Frequent Flyer Rewards (or vice versa) in the Macquarie Bank Rewards Program. We, our or us means Macquarie Bank Limited (ABN , Australian Credit Licence ) and its successors and assigns. Other capitalised terms not defined above have the meaning given to them in the Conditions of Use. In these Terms and Conditions the following rules of interpretation will apply: the singular includes the plural and vice versa a reference to anything includes the whole and each part of it a reference to a document includes any variation or replacement of it. Our failure to enforce a term of these Terms and Conditions does not mean we waive that term. If any term in these Terms and Conditions is invalid or not enforceable in accordance with its terms, all other terms or parts which are self sustaining and capable of separate enforcement without regard to the invalid or unenforceable term or part will be, and continue to be, valid and enforceable in accordance with their terms. 20
