You are cordially invited to attend the International Pee-Wee Hockey Games, grouping young hockey players (11 and 12 years old). About 400 young hockey players from the world come to Ceská Lipa to participate in the " International Pee-Wee Hockey Games ". This tournament is open to participants International Pee-Wee Hockey Games from March 27th 2011 where teams can practice or play a preliminary games.

3 International Pee-Wee Hockey Games From March 30th to April 3rd 2011 This booklet contains rules of the International Pee-Wee Hockey Games a procedure to follow for the team registration and also some information of general interest. Important dates to remember November 30, 2010: Deadline for sending your application form and the registration fee payment January 15, 2010: Deadline for submitting of all relevant documents: roster, team photo January 30, 2011 : Releasing of the official team schedule March 27, 2011 : Team preparation for the tournament: practice, pre-tournament games March 30th to April 3rd 2011: TOURNAMENT Players must be born between January 99 and December 99 to be eligible

4 Participation All documents sent by Tournament Organizing Committee (TOC) must be completed and returned before the deadline otherwise TOC will have the right to deny access to a team for late response. Registration fees : For all teams: ,-CZK (EUR 250) 50 % 2.November 30, bank account : Number accout you can find: No registration will be considered without required fees payment enclosed. If a team resigns after having been officially admitted by the tournament, registration fees will not be refundable. The TOC has the right to substitute any team that resigns for another team previously rejected in the selection.

5 Lodging and Boarding Accommodation for all is processed on the basis of the application and located in Ceska Lipa or in Novy Bor see accommodation. Beds for players and management will be provided from: March 27, but no later than to April 4, 2011 Full board for teams is included in the price see accommodation Note: Accommodation will be confirmed once the registration procedures are completed. Technical Standards of Tournament The tournament is played under IIHF rules. All teams are guaranteed to play six matches - 3 matches in the group - 3 matches play off or on standings. Executives of participating teams must appear at tournament headquarters immediately after arrival. Tournament headquarters is located in the Sportareal Ceska Lipa. Tournament organizational briefing will be held on March 29 at 18:00 in Hotel Morris, Ceska Lipa. TOC will be present and presence of head coaches and team managers from all teams is required. Each team has the right to bring 18 players and 2 goalies. Minimum number of players to start the game is 10 players and 1 goalie. Up to 5 people can be found on the bench with team. These people must be on the team roster.

6 Playing time: A) Basic Group: 3 x 15 minutes stop time (no overtime) Play off: 3 x 15 minutes stop - time In the event of a tie the match continues with shootout. Shootout consists of three players from each team taking penalty shots. After these six total shots, the team with the most goals is awarded the victory. If the score is still tied, the shootout then proceeds to a sudden death format. B) Matches the standings of (teams of 3 and 4 spot in the group) 3 x 12 minutes stop-time (no overtime) C) Medals games: 3 x 15 minutes stop-time In the event of a tie it is played a single five minute sudden death overtime period with each team having four players (plus a goalie) per side. If the score remains tied after an extra overtime period, the subsequent shootout consists of three players from each team taking penalty shots. After these six total shots, the team with the most goals is awarded the victory. If the score is still tied, the shootout then proceeds to a sudden death format. Surface Ice will take after each hockey match. If during the 1st and 2nd period a team loses with a difference more than 6 goals, remaining 3rd period is played 15 minutes brutto/ no stop. Any protest must be lodged against no later than 15 minutes after the match to the tournament director (with a deposit of 100 Euros), deposit is not refundable.

7 Penalty Shootout : The referee asks coach to nominee 3 players for penalty shootout If she decides, the coach is always determined by one player at a time, as required by the referee.. Each player can be nominated only once. Medical service is provided during the whole tournament. The doctor (of medicine/physician) will be available for all teams. The use of tournament logo without TOC approval is strictly prohibited. Accompanying program All star games will be organized - info on the website. All team members (coaches and managers included) must bring a bathing suit. There will be a swimming competition for all - relay 25 x 50m.
