Safety First Your safety and well-being throughout our centres is our priority. Nowhere is this more important than in the pools and for this reason we ask that you abide by the safety rules. Please make time to familiarise yourself with general information, safety notices and booking information on site or on the website 25 metre 6 lane Fitness Pool, with Wave machine, Giant slides, water features and Spa Pool. Your safety and well-being througout the building is our priority. Children We are rated among the top leisure centres in the country. Both centres offer large spacious unisex changing facilities with disabled and family changing, hair dryers, baby changing facilities and lockers to secure your belongings while you enjoy your swim. Access hoists are available on request allowing easy access to the pools at the Magnet and the Fitness pool at Windsor. Swimming is free for all Borough disabled residents and one nominated helper! Register on the Maidenhead Advertiser sponsored Swimmobility scheme at reception today! For safety reasons, one adult (responsible person over the age of 16) must supervise no more than two children under the age of eight. Only one child can be under the age of four in the Magnet Main Pool and Windsor Pools. There is no admission to the spa pools for children under five years old. Please report any accidents your children may have in and around the pool to the lifeguard on duty immediately. Do not use the pool if your child has suffered from diarrhoea in the last two weeks. All children under 3 (and others where appropriate) must wear swim nappies. Available at reception or in the shop. For hygiene purposes it is highly recommended that swimmers shower before using the pool.

3 General Information Special pool events are occasionally held resulting in the pools closing to the public. Check with reception, centre notices or on the website. We strongly advise that all non-swimmers wear suitable buoyancy aids, which are available from our shop or reception. At Windsor, slides open Monday to Friday during Royal Borough term time from 4pm, during holiday time from 10am and close 30 minutes before the Pool each evening. Disabled swimmers are welcome to use the pools during all public sessions. WAMDSAD, the local sports club for the disabled, use the Magnet pool on Sunday evenings 8 10pm. Call for more information. Starfish Swimming club for children and adults with learning difficulties meets at the Magnet every Saturday 5 6pm.
