1 About the Company Al Sharif Group is a Saudi Arabian national company, founded in Thanks to the vision and prudent management and the efforts of loyal and dedicated workers, it has become a leading company in the field of power system networks (generationtransmission-distribution) as well as projects of general contracting, property development and other industrial facilities. The group management has also devoted its effort for achieving, excellence in all field of activity, innovative approach for the current and long term development of the company the projects undertaken are always on the top priorities. Presently our activities are focused on the following sections. Power systems (generation-transmission-distribution); The Electrical Division of the company is executing projects estimated at SR: 1,200 million. General contracting works for generating stations, gas stations and shopping centers; The general and civil contracting department is engaged at projects value of over SR: 500 million. Real estate investment and development; This section supervises several domestic and regional projects work thousand of million of Saudi Riyals.

2 Power Generation Department Al Sharif Group is duly qualified for the turnkey construction of Diesel Power Stations by the local utility the Saudi Electricity Company (SEC) and other clients. Due expertise is available with the department in terms of Engineers and staff, tools and equipment and other facilities, to execute the projects. In view of the present demand for Energy in Saudi Arabia, the section is being expended and expects to participate in more projects. All projects completed included supply and installation of the Gensets alongwith the substation, all Electro-mechanical Installation as also Design and Construction of all Civil and Building work for the Power Station and other support facilities. The completed projects include Kharkhair Electrification project which included a complete Electrification Scheme for Kharkahir town located at the most remote area of the Kingdom, the Rub-Al-Khali, 600 km away from the nearest asphalt road. The project included turnkey construction of the Power Station upto consumer service connections. Some of the completed projects include 5 X 2.75MW Power Station at Kharkhair. 10 X 3MW Power Station at Owaiqilla & 25 X 2MW Power Station at King Fahd International Airport.

3 Electrical Department The Electrical Division of the Company is geared to undertake projects through competitive bidding on turnkey bases including Engineering, Procurement and Construction of Power System Networks. The department is fully equipped and capable of handling large sized projects of HV & EHV Transmission Lines, Distribution Substations and Networks and Diesel Power Plants. The Electrical division during its short life span has completed various projects of: - 380kV Overhead Transmission Lines /110kV Overhead Transmission Lines kV Underground Transmission Lines /33/13.8kV Substations. - 33/13.8kV Distribution Networks. - Diesel Power Stations.

4 Electrical Department For 380kV and 132kV overhead lines alone, over 5000 Towers are erected for over 1,500km of Line Length. Some of the main projects undertaken on turnkey basis during the last five years are as follows. 1. Construction of 268km, 380kV double circuit overhead transmission line, Shoaibah Namerah, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC South). 2. Construction of 123km, 380kV double circuit overhead transmission line, Jubail Ras Az Zour, Saudi Mining Company (Ma aden). 3. Construction of 55km, 380kV double circuit overhead transmission line, Integration of PP-9, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC Central). 4. Construction of 37km, 380kV double circuit overhead transmission line Ghunan Dhahiyah, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC East). 5. Construction of 288km, 380kV double circuit overhead transmission line Ghazlan Fadhli & Ghazlan Ghunan, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC East). 6. Construction of 251km, 132kV double circuit overhead transmission line Tabook Tayma, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC West). 7- Kharkhair Regional Electrification project including Power Plant, transmission and distribution networks up to consumer connections, Saudi Electricity Company (SEC South).

5 Civil Works Department The civil works division is equipped with fully integrated and highly efficient sections to carry out studies and design works and project implementation. A qualified and experienced team of architects, engineers and support staff is available to undertake turnkey projects and assignments for Industrial, Commercial, Residential and other building construction projects. All advance technologies and materials are used for the project implementations from the start till finishing and completion and final hand over to the Clients. Some of the projects completed are; 1- Civil and Building works for Steam Power Plant unit four. 2- Samiry Trade Center [total area of m2) 3- Messara Plaza Commercial Center, Medina 4- Harthiya hotel in Medina 5- Ibn Rushd preparatory School, Yanbu Industrial. 6- Schools for the Ministry of education (20 schools). 7- Expansion of power plant, Yanbu Industrial 8- Jeddah International Airport, Store yard 9- National Guard Complex, Medina 10- Radwa No. 1 & 4 schools, Yanbu Industrial district. 11- Alach Trade Center [total area 8000 m2] Riyadh. 12- Palaces, thousands of acres total area at Riyadh.

6 Saudi Arabia Energy Sector Area-wise Saudi Arabia is the 10th largest country in the world. Proven oil reserves of 265 billion barrels which is more than 1/4th of the world total. In addition, having 220 trillion cu ft gas reserve, ranking 4th in the world. Total population is more than 26 Millions with growth rate of nearly 4%. This rapid growth and development in infrastructure iscalling for an increasing power demand by 6.5% or more every year. The Kingdom's current infrastructure and public sector building 5 -year plan is valued at US$ 35 billion. Total investment in power sector in the next 15 years expected to be around 117 billion dollars, 54% in Generation, 29% in Transmission and 17% in Distribution. Water and Electricity Minister Abdullah Al-Hussayen described Saudi Arabia and Egypt as the largest power generators in the Middle East with a combined capacity of 50,000 megawatt. Saudi Arabia has plans to increase power capacity from the current 34,000 MW to 55,000 MW by year 2018 and to 70,000 MW by 2025.
