To update you must prepare: PC with Windows XP/7 and Micro SD reader SD Card 1-4GB, 8GB sometimes doesn t work Terra70L device Terra70L charger Pack with firmware and software tools Chapters: 1. 2 Changelog Last Page Page 2 of 10 Formatting SD card Standard format (using windows explorer) doesn t erase some partition info. To erase all data from SD card use special app SD formatter. Program can be downloaded here. Formatting instructions: 1. Run SD formatter 2. Click option, and set program as shown at screenshot, then click Ok 3. Insert SD card to PC, select correct drive from list, and click Format 4. Confirm information about losing data. 5. Program will format selected drive. After successful operation program will show results of operation. Formatting complete. SD card can be used in next steps.

Program will prepare partitions on SD card, and copy all files to card in specified format. Do not copy files to SD card manually it won t work! Firmware files for IUW tool can be provided as one file with profile of sd card, or as many files, and profile must be created by user.

4 Changelog Last Page Page 4 of 10 Creating SD with firmware (one file FW): 1. Run IUW tool (IUW.exe) 2. Select File\Open, and select firmware file (*.IUS) 3. Program will load files. Now insert SD card to PC, and select Make burn disc

5 Changelog Last Page Page 5 of Select drive where program should install files. 5. Confirm information about losing data on sd card 6. Wait until program will copy all files, and click Ok 7. Wait 30s. SD card is created and can be used to upgrade firmware in tablet.

6 Changelog Last Page Page 6 of 10 Creating SD with firmware (many files FW): 1. Run IUW tool (IUW.exe) 2. Select File\New\New IUS, select directory with firmware files, and click Wrap 3. Program will load files. Now insert SD card to PC, and select Make burn disc

8 Changelog Last Page Page 8 of 10 Upgrading device instructions: 1. Disconnect charger from device 2. Turn Off device, and wait 1 minute. 3. Insert SD card with firmware to device 4. Connect charger to device and wait one minute, device will start upgrading procedure. 5. Wait until device will show information that you have to remove SD Card, and remove SD card. 6. Device will reboot automatically. That s all. Device will turn on with welcome menu on screen.

A: If you use SD->MicroSD Adaptor check write protection switch. If it is ok you have problem with SD card / SD reader. Try with other SD card, reader and adaptor Q: I tried to upgrade device, but my device doesn t turn on at 4 point of instruction. Back cover goes hot. A: Probably you have problem with SD Card. Try with other version of firmware (Goclever provides Android 4.2, and 4.3). Remove SD Card, disconnect charger, press power button for 15s, and try again with other SD Card/ firmware version.
