As an option,you can equip your aircraft with SAT AFIS, which gives you the choice of the new Iridium satellite communications system for true global coverage or the traditional Inmarsat satellite system with either Aero-C,Aero-H or Aero-I communications links. Either way, the SAT AFIS option offers you worldwide communications. With its ability to cover the entire world, the AFIS system helps your dispatchers by enabling them to contact your aircraft in flight, even if they don t know an airplane s specific location.
