Aesthetic Dermatology Symposium The Aesthetic Dermatology Symposium will present new innovations in aesthetic procedures and technologies through multiple live patient demonstration and certification workshops given by world leaders in cosmetic and aesthetic dermatology. AESTHETIC Demonstrate advanced techniques in the use and application of various neurotoxins and dermal fillers Recognize how to prevent and treat complications stemming from a variety of aesthetic procedures Evaluate and discuss the current available invasive and non-invasive body sculpting technologies with respect to efficacy and mechanism of action to reduce cellulite and fat Compare the latest advanced techniques in lasers, light and radiofrequency devices for the use of aesthetic enhancement Review leg vein anatomy and the treatment of varicosities with the use of sclerotherapy PRACTICE MANAGEMENT Identify the rules, regulations, practice management techniques and business information necessary for a successful dermatology practice Review risk management strategies for reducing the frequency and severity of malpractice claims Demonstrate the available electronic medical records systems that are available to dermatologists and criteria for meaningful use Recognize the issues surrounding healthcare reform and their impact on dermatologists Accreditation and Credit Hours Physicians AKH Inc. is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians.
