2 Table of Contents Woot Math Overview Getting the Most Out of Woot Math Reports Recent Progress Report Mastery by Standard Mastery by Topic Student Detailed History Contact Us Woot Math Overview At Woot Math, we are passionate about developing tools that help teachers reach more students and to ensure all students are algebra-ready. Woot Math is hands-on, engaging, adaptive, and effective. It can be used in a variety of classroom structures to fill gaps, stretch advanced students, and deepen conceptual understanding for a whole class or small groups. Woot Math is used independently by students, and provides you with real-time, actionable data and reports to track progress by topic or standard. This document describes the reporting functions available within Woot Math. For details on using Woot Math in your classroom, please refer to the Woot Math User Guide. Getting the Most Out of Woot Math Reports To access the reports within Woot Math, first login to the teacher dashboard at wootmath.com (click Teacher Login). Then click on the Progress Reports tab to view real-time, actionable data about your students progress in. A number of reports are available, including: 1. Recent Progress Report 2. Mastery by Standard 3. Mastery by Topic 4. Student Detailed History If your students haven t yet used Woot Math, we will provide sample reports like the ones shown below. 1

3 Recent Progress Report The recent progress report shows a snapshot of each of your student's most recent progress. This includes the current topic they are working on, the last time they used Woot Math, their status, and the number of problems worked within the current topic. To access the recent progress report, select Recent Progress from the report drop-down menu, then select your Class. 2

4 The recent progress report provides a summary by student of the last notebook each student was working on. The status illustrates both their progress as well as their level of mastery within that topic. Mastery by Standard The mastery by standard report shows a snapshot of your students level of mastery relative to the selected standard. The progress indicates proficiency of each standard based upon the work they have completed in Woot Math. To access the mastery by standard report on the Progress Reports tab, select Mastery by Standard from the report drop-down menu, then select your Class and Standard. The example below illustrates mastery by standard for the Common Core State Standards for Mathematics (CCSSM). 3

6 Mastery by Topic The mastery by topic report shows a snapshot of your students level of mastery relative to the topics covered in Woot Math. These topics are aligned to the notebooks available to students. The progress indicates proficiency of each topic based upon the work they have completed in Woot Math. To access the mastery by topic report on the Progress Reports tab, select Mastery by Topic from the report drop-down menu, then select your Class. The example below illustrates the mastery by topic report. 5

7 Student Detailed History To access a detailed history of each student s work in Woot Math, simply click on the their name from one of the reports described above. This will take you to a detailed view where you can review the student s history of every level they ve worked. A summary of the student s progress is provided, including the current level they are working on, time spent on Woot Math, and any recent achievements that the student has earned. A summary of each worked level is also provided, including the title, date, and time spent. By clicking on the summary lesson name, the summary will expand into the full details of the level worked, including stars earned and actual screenshots of their work. An example of this detailed report is shown below. 6
