5 STRATEGIC ANALYTICS Sample client engagements Revenue Growth Management For a food manufacturer, we identified opportunities to optimize base pricing within portfolio and identified opportunities to fine-tune promotional strategy to extract value for both manufacturer and retailer. Provided strategic recommendations to revamp current trade architecture and identified tactical opportunities to optimize trade spend for a household product manufacturer. Marketing Productivity We helped drive growth from priority consumer segments for a large OTC health care company using a Consumer Marketing Mix analysis to pinpoint the most impactful marketing levers. For a major center-store food brand, we leveraged our Hispanic Marketing Mix platform to develop actionable recommendations for a more effective marketing strategy toward the growing Hispanics segment. Retail Productivity We helped a deli-cheese client drive sales growth and achieve operational savings through actionable retailer strategies for optimizing product assortment. We enabled a global retailer to grow market share by incorporating shopper segmentation, store clusters, and proprietary data into product assortment strategies and activation. Growth Consulting We developed a portfolio strategy for a leading food manufacturer to realign its brands to better target and serve consumers who shop across several channels. For a top private equity firm, we conducted a robust demand due diligence on a potential acquisition target, which defined both category and brand attractiveness, the potential growth opportunities, highlighting the potential risks and opportunities. 11 STRATEGIC ANALYTICS I had a great internship at IRI Consulting last summer, and really enjoyed working with the team and coming up with business insights for our CPG clients. In the ten weeks, I learned a lot, and now as a full-time Junior Associate, I am really excited to build upon my experience from last year.
