1 Online Order Tracking Registration and Usage Guide

2 To request a user login for the Sensus Online Order Tracking application, go to customer.sensus.com and click the link to register. You will be presented with a form to fill out. Please be sure to select the appropriate radio button at the top of the page and fill out all of the mandatory fields. When you are finished, click Submit. Note: Selecting Direct will eliminate the need to enter an approver but will require someone at Sensus to handle your request. OOT Guide Sensus Metering Systems North America Page 2 of 6

3 Once a request has been submitted it will be sent to the appropriate approver. If you are an approver, when you log into OOT you will have a Request Approval link in your navigation bar. This link will direct you to a list of pending requests. To approve a request, click on the select button next to the requestor s name. If you are in the role of Customer Service, you will also see a button that says View Approver s Pending. This will allow you to view the outstanding requests for company level approvers. 4 After selecting a request you will see the request information and will be prompted to approve or reject the request. After making a selection, click Submit to finalize the request. If you are in the role of customer service, you will be prompted to add notes to the request, select a role for the user and make the appropriate associations. Once a request has been approved, it will be sent to a Sensus Admin representative who will be asked to create a username. Upon completion of this step, an will be sent to the requestor with the username and password that has been created for them. Once they login for the first time, they will have the option to change their password by clicking the link Change Password in the navigation bar. 5 If you are logged into OOT as an approver, you will also have a link in your navigation bar for User Maintenance. This link will direct you to a list of the existing users for your company. Here you will have the ability to activate and deactivate users. Note: Deactivating a user prevents them from being able to log in. This can easily be undone by reactivating them. However, deleting a user deletes them permanently from the system, and cannot be undone. OOT Guide Sensus Metering Systems North America Page 5 of 6

6 All users will have an Order Tracking link in the navigation bar. This link takes you to a page where you can view the orders of any company you are associated with. It also allows you to view the shipping information and line notes for those orders. Open orders or closed orders can be viewed by clicking the Open and History buttons. To export the selected orders to excel, click the Excel button. There are also several search options listed under Power Search. Business and technical support can be obtained by clicking the Contact Us link in the navigation bar. You will be presented with a screen where you can type a message to be sent to Customer Service or Technical Support based on your Subject Type selection.
