3 Texas Motor Speedway History We are in our 15 th year! Texas Motor Speedway came to Fort Worth in Fort Worth sought to land the speedway. Other cities under consideration: Dallas, Grand Prairie, St. Louis and Las Vegas.

12 City of Fort Worth / Texas Motor Speedway A Public/Private Partnership

13 Texas Motor Speedway has provided signage and luxury suites to the City of Fort Worth totaling a value of $6,300,000.

14 Texas Motor Speedway has provided a luxury suite to the Fort Worth Convention & Visitor s Bureau and the Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce for 14 years for their own business use. Total value: $1,000,000.

15 Texas Motor Speedway has donated use of its parking lots for training use by the Fort Worth Police Department. The total value of the parking lot s use by the Fort Worth Police Department through the years is estimated at over $1,650,000.

16 Texas Motor Speedway also donates use of its parking lots for training use by MedStar.

17 Texas Motor Speedway has Supported the City of Fort Worth Through Various Means Including: Cash contributions supporting the Fort Worth Convention Center, the Fort Worth Convention Center Hotel, the Fort Worth Police & Firefighters Memorial, the Fort Worth Mayor s Fund, Fort Worth Chamber of Commerce Economic Development Fund, 35W Coalition, etc. Sansom Park Firefighters Memorial Service. Fort Worth Christmas Tree.

18 Texas Motor Speedway supports the community, too, using civic organizations to work as ticket sellers, ticket takers, ushers, concession stand operators, souvenir stand operators, etc., paying more than $6,500,000 to these organizations over the years.

19 Texas Motor Speedway contributes tickets and other valuable gifts to hundreds of school, church and civic organizations annually. The total of such gifts is approximately $250,000 a year or $3,500,000 since the speedway opened.

21 Since its inception, Texas Motor Speedway has generated approximately $11,425,000 in Sales Taxes for Fort Worth: $2,856,000 to Fort Worth Police Department. $2,856,000 to the Fort Worth Transit Department. $5,713,000 to the General Fund of the City of Fort Worth.

22 Texas Motor Speedway has generated $4,833,000 in Property Taxes for Fort Worth. Texas Motor Speedway has PAID Fort Worth $1,886,600 in Water and Sewer Fees.
