5 4 CHECK THE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS 5 ENGLISH TEST YOUR ABILITY 6 APPLY! Most courses require completion of either Year 10 or Year 12. Entry requirements may differ between campuses. In many countries, to apply for an Australian student visa, you must have completed Year 11 or 12 or equivalent. 10 ENGLISH COURSES Excellent English language skills are required to complete your chosen course. For most courses the English language requirement is Academic IELTS 5.5 or TOEFL (ibt) 46 or STEP Eiken Grade Pre 1 or a Certificate in Advanced English for Further Study or equivalent. Some courses have higher requirements. If you do not meet the requirements of the course, you can study English as a stand-alone course or as a package with your course. ENGLISH LANGUAGE COURSES A English course will ensure you are well prepared for your studies.
