18 *PRESS RELEASE* OVERDO IT DENIM ON FRIDAY 23 TH SEPTEMBER TO RAISE MONEY FOR JEANS FOR GENES DAY 1 in 25 children in the UK are born with a genetic disorder that amounts to more than 30,000 babies born each year. This year s Jeans for Genes Day takes place on Friday 23 rd September. The day invites people to leave their suits and uniforms at home and wear their jeans to work or school in return for a donation which will help change the lives of children across the UK. Jeans for Genes Day provides vital funding for the care and support of children with genetic disorders. In 2016, 22 charities will benefit from the funds raised on Jeans for Genes Day.
