1 5 th Grade Science Fair Project / Endangered Animals Power Point Presentation Due Date: May 13, 2013 Name:_# Teacher: Each group will develop a Power Point presentation about one of the endangered animals listed below. Every presentation will have a minimum of 20 slides with at least one picture on every slide. You will need to teach us about the endangered animal and cover all of the questions listed below by researching the topic. This assignment will be a combination of school work and homework. Personal Connection How does this issue affect you (directly or indirectly) Your Solution Give one clear, well thought out solution YOU have for this issue. (How would you like to see this problem solved?) Include 2 supporting details for your solution. (For example, My idea would be to solve this problem, because.. ) Environmental Impact What is the environmental impact of these animals dying off? Human Impact What are some of the long- lasting effects the dying off of these animals have on people in their area? Wildlife Conservation Organization What agencies or organizations help endangered animals? What steps have been done to help protect your animal? Economic Effect What is the economic effect of organizations that help the endangered species? Before/After Pictures What did the natural habitat of your animal look like before they were endangered? What does it look like now?
