Vevo 1100 Imaging & Analysis Software M-Mode M-Mode imaging is used for visualizing and quantifying tissue movement over time (e.g. motion of the myocardium over time) Pulsed-Wave Doppler Mode Pulsed-Wave (PW) Doppler Mode is used to provide analysis of blood flow at specific sites in a vessel or valve under investigation. The strength of PW Doppler Mode lies in the accurate quantification of the changing blood velocity throughout the cardiac cycle, and the distribution of velocities in the sample volume (or gate) Color Doppler Mode This advanced mode provides the researcher with the ability to quickly and accurately identify the location and presence of vessels. The benefits include increasing user efficiency with the Vevo system, but also reducing the learning time required to locate and identify target anatomy. In addition, it provides dynamic data about blood flow, which cannot be obtained from more expensive and often more complex imaging modalities. It allows for easy analysis of valvular diseases, such as the aortic, mitral, pulmonary and tricuspid valves in small animals LV Trace Tool LV Functional Analysis will provide semi-automated continuous tracing of the chamber walls in the left ventricle in either B-Mode or M-Mode. In addition, the Vevo software will automatically generate standard left ventricular measurements and calculations derived from the traced contours and the collected physiological data. This feature will provide users with an improved and streamlined workflow for conducting standard cardiac analysis on mouse and rat models. Traced LV walls provide continuous diameter, area or volume dimensions depending on the mode used. The combination of the continuous dimensions with an integrated blood pressure signal will provide Pressure-Volume analysis with the Vevo system. VS Vevo LAB Workstation Software This workstation software is compatible with both the Vevo 2100 and the Vevo LAZR imaging systems. Allows for analysis, measurement, and annotation of Vevo data on the researcher's PC, freeing valuable time on the Vevo system itself. Includes License Dongle and Installation CD.
