HRMD/,l.Y6')16,06,D13/ September 10, 2014 Madam, Beginning the year 2012, Reserve Bank of India (RBI) has launched the Reserve Bank of India Quiz (RBIQ), c:n all-india Interschool Quiz, with a view to create awareness and interest about the history and role of RBI, about banking and finance, other banking institutions, economics, current affairs, personalities and events that have contributed to the growth and progress of India over the years. 2. RBIQ is informative, educational and enjoyable and helps building connect between RBI and the young student community enrolled in schools across the country and achieve extensive dissemination of financial literacy. It is also an opportunity for platform. recognising and encouraging bright young students on a national 3. This year, RBIQ will be held at 62 locations across the country including Delhi. At Delhi, RBIQ will be held on October 26, 2015 at Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan Auditorium, Delhi Cantt., New Delhi. The quiz will have four stages. The Pre-Quarter Final and Quarter Final will be held on the same day viz. September 28, Quarter Final winning teams will move to the Zonal Finals and then to the National Finals. Zonal Final will be conducted at Delhi, tentatively on November 03, "V./0-, Travel, stay, etc. arrangements will be made by RBI for the team participating in the Zonal Finals and Natio~al Finals. These two Final stages of RB1Q 2015 will also be telecast on one of the reputed national TV channel networks. ~jy 5. Each student taking part in RBIQ will be given a Certificate of Participation../"" Refreshments will be served to all students taking part in RBIQ at all stages. 3 \ 6. Students studying in standards IX, X, XI and XII are eligible to participate. Each school has been requested to send only one team comprising of 2 students from any of these classes. Each team will be escorted by a teacher representative. In case any school sends more than one team, only one team from that school will be considered for participation at the Quarter-final stage onwards. Last year around 150 schools of Delhi had participated in this event. 7. RBIQ will be conducted by reputed quizmasters from Greycaps Pvt. Ltd. 8.
