1 Dear DeviceAnywhere Users, We had a great Mobile World Congress show! Thanks to all of you who were able to stop by our booth. New this month: we have launched two Microsoft Windows packages. In addition, we've updated our blog and added a Facebook page so that we can share new device information real-time. And there are over 30 new devices in the Device Bank, including the first international HTC G1 on UK, and the new BlackBerry 8900 Curve. Upcoming Events New DeviceAnywhere Handsets: Recently Added and Coming Soon Mobile World Congress Recap We had a great show! Our booth had extensive traffic as we met with developers from all over the world. Several of our partners demonstrated the DeviceAnywhere solution in their booths, including Telefonica, O2, O2 Litmus, mblox, Enough Software, Accenture, and Forum Nokia. DeviceAnywhere Launches Windows Mobile Packages DeviceAnywhere has just launched the US/Canada Windows Mobile package and the EU Windows Mobile package. These packages, designed for companies focused on developing for the Windows Mobile platform, each contain 70 devices representing all of DeviceAnywhere's available windows mobile devices in their respective geographies. To see the list of available devices in these packages, click here. Sign up by logging into your DeviceAnywhere account, or by contacting DASales@deviceanywhere.com. New DeviceAnywhere Blog and Facebook Page Now you can get daily info on the latest new DeviceAnywhere devices and capabilities! To access the blog, click here. To view our Facebook page, click on the button to the right. DeviceAnywhere Launches International Website The DeviceAnywhere website is now available in French, German, and Spanish! To view DeviceAnywhere.com in any of these languages, just choose your language in the drop down at DA Tips and Tricks By popular demand, the My Applications feature now supports the upload and download of BlackBerry COD files. To Upload your BlackBerry application to My Applications, follow this procedure: 1. Go to and log in to your MyDeviceAnywhere account. 2. Click the My Applications tab. 3. Click the Add Application icon at the top of the page. 4. Enter the application name and type. 5. Click Save. 6. Click Add/Remove files. 7. Click Add file. A browser opens enabling you to navigate to the folder where the application is located on your computer. 8. Click Save. Your mobile application is uploaded to your MyDeviceAnywhere account. Note: When uploading, make sure to include the COD file and any other files required by your application. You can then download your applications to DeviceAnywhere handsets over-the-air by doing the following: 1. Navigate to the URL entry field on the device. 2. Make sure the field is entirely blank. Delete characters if necessary. 3. Click Go To My Applications (bottom icon) of the On-Screen Icons next to the device. This feature automatically enters the My Applications URL into the field. 4. Click the Navigate to Application button. 5. Click OK or Yes to navigate to the URL. 6. Follow any prompts that redirect the browser to the My Applications page.

DeviceAnywhere Partners with Motorola to Unite Developer Community Through the MOTODEV Virtual Developer Lab Feb. 11, DeviceAnywhere announced its partnership with Motorola to launch the new Motorola Virtual Developer Lab. This is the handset manufacturer's latest step in extending world-class tools to its MOTODEV mobile application and content developer community. To view our press release, click here. Spain's Largest Mobile Operator, Telefonica, partners with DeviceAnywhere Feb. 16, DeviceAnywhere announced the launch of the new Telefonical Movistar Virtual Developer Lab, a remote testing service designed to significantly reduce the time and resources required to develop, test, and monitor applications and content for Telefonica devices. Zed Signs Deal with DeviceAnywhere to Improve Mobile Content Development Feb. 18, Zed, the world's largest mobile content company by revenue and geographical presence, has signed a deal with DeviceAnywhere to improve its content testing process and reduce its testing budget. To view the full press release, click here. 7. Log in to your account by entering your DeviceAnywhere username and password in the appropriate entry fields. 8. Click OK to continue. The list of applications on the device is displayed in the WAP browser. 9. Scroll down the list to highlight the application to download. (Use the up, down, left and right arrow keys on the device.) 10. Click OK or Yes to select a download operation and confirm it. 11. Follow any prompts to complete the download operation.
