2 Cryoserver Mobile Windows Mobile App Introduction The Cryoserver Mobile App is available for Widows Mobile, Android and Apple IOS, Blackberry 10 and, with a Licensed (chargeable) MobileAPI Module enabled on the Cryoserver environment, users can then download the apps from the AppStore for free and quickly configure them to connect to an organisation s Cryoserver archive. The apps do not store any data, and the user is required to log in each time they use the app. Installation On first installation you will be directed to the preference screen. This screen can also be accessed from the Search Screen. Scroll down the screen to see all the options Before installation you will need to ask your Cryoserver administrator for the Cryoserver URL, Company Tag and License Key for your company. Preferences Results Per Page: A search will display a summary of the s just as in the full Cryoserver web browser. Results Per Page limits the number of results that are download from Cryoserver and displayed in the App. Default Data Range The Default (search) Date Range is set in months, i.e. the number of months from the current month that a search is carried out over. 3 Scrolling down the Preferences screen reveals three more options Auto Login: Starting the App will automatically log the user on Remember Password VPN: Enables connection via a VPN when the Cryoserver is behind a company firewall (Contact your administrator on setting up the VPN). Action Icons Save: Preferences are securely saved on the mobile. After saving the user will be redirected to the Search Screen. 4 Search and display Results The first screen after the preference screen or on start-up (after the preferences have been saved) is the Search screen Search Screen Quick Date Touch the Custom box to display and select the search date range. The options are the same as with the full Cryoserver. From / To date and Time Touch the date and time boxes to change the search date and times. Any changes will change the Quick Date to Custom. If the default date is set in Preferences then these dates will be shown on entering the Search screen Search Terms Search terms from Keywords to Att Keywords have the same meanings and format as in the full Cryoserver Sort Order Display the results in ascending or descending date order Action Icons Start the Search Clear the search terms Page 4 Document version July 2015 FCS - Public

5 Search Results The search results screen display a summary of each found . The contents of each summary will be the same as that shown in the user s normal Cryoserver view. In the example below the message summary has been disabled in the Cryoserver user preferences. Use the Arrows at the bottom to navigate to the previous and next page of results Touch a result summary to display the . 6 Menu Options These options mirror the functionality found in full Cryoserver client. Selecting Reply, Reply to All opens the default mail client on the phone with the addresses subject and message summary pre completed ready for the user to add content to the .
