1 UNIFORM REGULATIONS JUNIOR SCHOOL (P1 to P7) 1. Standards relating to dress and appearance are determined by the Headmaster. 2. Pupils must wear the full, correct school uniform. They must always be neat and tidy in appearance. Pupils must remember that they represent the School when travelling to and from the School and at all other times when wearing our uniform. 3. All items of clothing, books and personal belongings should be clearly marked with the owner s name and class. 4. Items marked with an asterisk * must be obtained from the School suppliers. Pupils who opt to play on Saturdays are likely to be playing on grass and studded boots are still the best footwear for this surface, although astro shoes can be used. Studded boots should have either a moulded sole or plastic screw in studs please note that metal studs are not permitted on a hockey pitch. Girls tend to wear football boots as their "studded" footwear. Training shoes are unsafe on grass, particularly when it is wet. In P5 and P6 hockey sticks are provided. If pupils wish to purchase their own stick, they should seek advice before doing so from the PE Department. In P7 pupils require to purchase a hockey stick - ladies hip height - advice from PE Department. [Pupils also require a towel and a change of underwear/socks] - 4 -
