We are therefore specifying the models of skirts and girls trousers that will be acceptable. These are described and priced on the attached leaflet. The Governors have decided that they will be part of our school uniform from the beginning of the new school year. The school uniform list has been updated. I am attaching a copy. In the meantime please ensure that your son/daughter is conforming to our current policy with regard to skirts and trousers. This is: Trousers & Skirts Black conventional school type. Jeans, jogging bottoms, cargo trousers, leggings or other fashion trousers in whatever colour or material are not permitted. Girls have the option of a skirt instead of trousers. The skirt should be black, of reasonable length and suitable school type. 2 SCHOOL UNIFORM We wish to make clear to all students and parents that the following list of uniform items is intended to be exactly that uniform. It does not include fashion or designer items, which are not acceptable in our school. Boys Trousers Girls Trousers Girls Skirts Shirts Jumpers [OPTIONAL] in very cold weather only. SPECIALIST ITEM Blazers SPECIALIST/NON SPECIALIST ITEM Clip on Ties Black conventional school type. Black from the catalogue attached. Black from the catalogue attached. Sky blue. These should be of conventional style with either short or long sleeve. For girls it should be an open neck sky blue blouse with revere collar with which no tie is necessary (See picture in catalogue). Black v-neck with the school badge, available from School Togs in Worcester, Ace Essentials in Droitwich. No other jumper or cardigan is allowed. Black school blazers. Blazers with badge embroidered on are available from Ace Essentials in Droitwich or School Togs in Worcester. You can buy the badge separately from Ace Essentials in Droitwich or from school. School tie, blue stripe available from School Togs in Worcester, Ace Essentials in SPECIALIST ITEM Droitwich. Socks Dark grey or black for boys. Navy, black or white socks or black or natural tights for girls. Shoes Black traditional/conventional school type. No trainers or boots are permitted. Specifically, no black canvas shoes/pumps should be bought as these do not conform to our requirements for daily wear. Steel toe-cap work boots are also unacceptable. Outdoor coats Scarves Hats Jewellery Hairstyles Make up For safety, reflective armbands are recommended during dark winter months. Tracksuit or sweatshirt type tops or hoodies are not acceptable items of school wear and will be confiscated. Plain navy blue or black. Football or fashion scarves are not allowed. These should not be worn in the school buildings Students are only allowed one discreet necklace or bracelet, one small signet ring and one plain stud or small sleeper in each ear lobe. No other piercings, ear stretchers or jewellery are allowed. Hairstyles should be appropriate for studying in school, without extremes of style, cut or colour. We are mindful of changes in fashion, but a Number 1 haircut or shorter is not acceptable. Styles where lines or shapes are cut into the hair, or where parts of the head are shaved, are not acceptable. Hair which has been dyed or streaked with unnatural colours [where there are two or more distinct colours that form an obvious contrast] is not permitted. Long hair in boys or girls needs to be tied or clipped back so that your teachers can see your face. Discreet make up is permitted. Nail varnish, false nails and nail extensions are not allowed.
