1 Mission Statement Players at Creeks Soccer, through our uniform and logo, project a professional image ensuring that at all times, the soccer heritage that has become Creeks Soccer remains at the highest standard, instilling personal, Team and Club pride. The purpose of the policy outlined in this document will ensure that all Recreational, Academy and Premier Players and Coaches are outfitted correctly. Creeks Soccer Premier Uniform Policy All teams at Creeks Soccer may only wear uniforms and accessories that have been previously approved by the Board of Directors. The Creeks Soccer Board of Directors has selected Adidas uniforms and accessories as the standard uniform kit for ALL Teams. No other kits or alternate packages will be allowed. The Board may change/adjust the approved uniform kit as it deems necessary, however due to the need for long-term consistency, the Board should only approve changes due to Adidas style changes or major failure on the part of Adidas. All Recreational and Academy are given new uniform kits at the beginning of each fall season. Only new players (those that did not play in the fall) are given uniforms for the spring season. Parents should keep this in mind when ordering their child s uniform at registration time. If a child outgrows a uniform during the year, the parent must buy a new uniform. It is the goal of the Board to have a two year cycle before changing Premier uniform styles. All players shall buy uniform kits the first year of a new uniform cycle. Players electing not to buy an entire uniform kit in year two of the cycle are required to purchase practice/presentation tees and socks.
2 The following is the Creeks Clash uniform kit: Items purchased through Creeks Soccer - Standard Kit: 1 each -royal and white Adidas jersey / 1 each - royal and black Adidas short/ 1 each royal and white Adidas socks/ and 2 practice/presentation tee s. Optional uniform items: include an Adidas training suit (Soreno Presentation Suit) and/or an Adidas Duffle Bag - Optional items are indeed optional. However, they MUST purchase identical Adidas items. Teams will not be allowed to purchase these items from other brands or purchase from other retailers. Player Provided Required Equipment - Practices: Water/Gatorade, shin guards, appropriately sized soccer ball and proper footwear. Games and tournaments: Water/Gatorade, shin guards, appropriately sized soccer ball and proper footwear. Practice and Game Dress Code - Training shirts will be worn at all training sessions. CLASH practice t-shirt, black or royal shorts and white or royal socks. Players have the discretion of wearing shorts and socks other than those provided for games to reduce their wear (at practice sessions ONLY). Game uniforms will be worn for ALL games league, tournament, state/region cup and Scrimmages/Friendlies. The Creeks Clash primary game uniform is royal jersey, royal game shorts, and royal game socks. Alternate game uniform is white jersey, black game shorts, and white game socks. (At no time is this combination to be altered) When there is a color conflict if you are the home team, then the alternate Clash game uniform should be worn.
3 Players (U11 and U12) are not required to wear grey training shirt prior to their games. Coaches discretion. Players (U13 through U18) will arrive to all games wearing their Clash grey training shirt and game shorts. Players will warm-up in their training shirt, and then change to their game jersey prior to kick-off. All players should have both game jerseys and their grey training shirts with them, along with their soccer bags, soccer balls if required by coach, and all player provided required equipment. Soccer bags should be lined up neatly on the sidelines during all games. This will represent professionalism and team unity Being shirtless or wearing only a sports bra is not allowed for any length of time. This applies while at the fields for practice and games. The colors will be designated by the coach/manager for each event. Player s should have the opposite color jersey with them at ALL games, tournaments, scrimmages and friendlies. Shirts (including game jersey) must be fully tucked in at all times. No front tucks or side tucks allowed. This is part of presenting a professional, readyto-play appearance and it is also part of the discipline we expect of our players and teams. Undergarments: If a player chooses to wear undergarments that will be visible, such as longsleeved shirts under the jersey, compression shorts, etc - these must match the color of BOTH the jersey and shorts. Note that FIFA (the international governing body for soccer) recently modified its rules to mandate that undergarments match the game shirt and short colors. No other colors are acceptable. Goalkeepers ONLY may wear long pants; field players may only wear under-shorts. Under-shirts (long or short-sleeved) must be body-fitting and not loose or bulky. No sweatshirts are to be worn under game jerseys. The exception to this is that for practices only players may wear undershirts and/or undershorts of another color. Other cold-weather accessories:
4 It is acceptable for players to wear field gloves and either headbands (to cover ears) or knit caps. The only colors acceptable are one of the club colors. No hard-billed caps or visors are permitted on the field. Clash Adidas warm-up should be worn to all games/tournaments/practices during bad weather. (If the team did not purchase the Adidas warm-up, then that team may wear a club logoed hooded sweatshirt and sweatpants) Note: No school or other club apparel will be permitted on the field for Clash practices, games, events and/or tournaments. The Creeks Soccer Board of Directors acknowledges that there are occasions in which a uniform item that deviates from the standard may be appropriate or needed. Each team is empowered to provide (at the expense of the team) an Alternate jersey, practice/presentation shirt or sock to be used in play with the prior written approval of the appropriate DOC, Director of Competition and Uniform Director.
