2 Thank you for making Christmas special for our patients by taking part in our Christmas gift appeal. We ve put together a list of toys and presents for girls and boys of all ages to help inspire you. We can accept new soft toys to be given as gifts only. Unfortunately, second hand teddy bears and stuffed toys cannot be accepted at any time due to risk of infection. Presents must be unwrapped when delivered. You can use unsealed gift bags but as Santa s helpers match each present to the right patient on Christmas Eve they need to see the contents clearly.

3 Visiting the hospital There will be limited availability to visit the hospital to give out gifts to the children. If you would like to visit, please get in touch as early as possible so we can schedule a date. We are limited to five guests visiting at one time. Please bear this in mind when planning your visit. Visitors will be restricted to one ward only to avoid the risk of infection. To ensure gifts are fairly distributed we plan to give out the main donated gifts on Christmas day by Santa. If you would like to give the children a treat on your visit we suggest small token gifts that can be given out to everyone, such as bubbles or colouring books. Please be aware that sweets and chocolates can be given but not always to all children due to medical restrictions. We welcome fancy dress and fun ideas to brighten up our patients day. If you have an idea, give us a call to tell us more.

4 Make a donation If you d rather support financially instead your donation can make an enormous difference to Evelina London, improving care for sick children. A gift of 30 can buy a baby nest to support the development of a premature infant s brain and generally keep the baby snug and secure. A gift of 1,200 could cover the costs of a Teddy Bear s Picnic to give tracheostomy patients and their families the chance to socialise in a safe environment away from a clinical setting. A gift of 2,059 can cover the cost of a Mobile Sensory Voyager to stimulate and entertain children with all needs. A gift of 5,013 can purchase specialist respiratory and suction equipment to support even the tiniest of babies. If you d prefer to support in this way please contact us. Make a difference all year round We love hearing from companies at Christmas but also have opportunities to get involved all year round! We can provide all the materials you will need to make it a success! Volunteer Make cot blankets, help us collect at events or speak to us about other volunteering opportunities to suit your needs.
