2 Sunday Drive Remember those Sunday drives? You slinking down below the line of sight in the back seat, your Mom or Dad behind the wheel? Well, this Sunday Drive is about mom and dad in the passenger seat, you behind the wheel, and a $50 American Express Reward Card in your pocket! How do you make it happen? Simply begin to take one 30-minute drive a week with your parent or guardian for 20 weeks. Go somewhere you need to go...or want to go! It s easy as and a lot more fun than a Sunday drive, and it doesn t even have to be on a Sunday. Let s face it. Most moms and dads have been driving quite a bit longer than their sons and daughters. These folks have a wealth of experience to share. And, who knows, you may even enjoy yourself. So, get on the road today toward earning your $50 American Express Reward Card. Talk it over with your parent or guardian, then start your weekly drives. Complete the log (opposite), indicating the date, destination, and mileage for each trip. Return your completed and signed log to MetLife Auto & Home. If you remain claim- and incident-free for one year, we will send you a $50 American Express Reward Card to congratulate you for beginning your road to a lifetime of safe driving! After your first year of safe driving, continue your good driving habits. If you remain claim- and incident-free for another full year, we will send you another $50 American Express Reward Card for your excellent behavior on the road! * American Express Reward Card Eligibility Ages 16 & 17 Licensed driver Auto policyholder with MetLife Auto & Home or insured on a parent s or guardian s MetLife Auto & Home policy (at the time of enrollment and the time of award redemption) Do I have to drive on Sunday to participate in Sunday Drive? No. You can drive any day of the week. Can I get credit if I drive more than once each week? We certainly encourage you to do so. However, you can only make one entry for the week and receive credit for one trip. If you drive 20 consecutive weeks, it will take you fewer than five months to complete the log and be on your way to earning your first $50 American Express Reward Card. Do I have to drive with a licensed parent or guardian to receive credit? Yes. You must drive with your parent or guardian to receive credit for Sunday Drive. Suppose I miss a couple of weeks? That s fine. Just pick up where you left off. Program available to teens age 16 & 17 only and for a maximum of 2 years. American Express Reward Cards may be used at merchants in the United States, Puerto Rico and U.S. Virgin Islands that accept American Express Cards. This Card is given to you as a reward, refund, rebate or gift and no consideration, value, or money has been paid by you in exchange for this Card. This Card cannot be used at cruise lines, for recurring billing charges, at casinos or ATMs. Card Subject to applicable law, a $2.00 Monthly Service applies but is waived for the initial 12 months after receipt by cardholder. 3 Drive Safe and Cash In Remain claim- and incident-free for another full year and receive another $50 American Express Reward Card! After you turn in the completed log for the Sunday Drive, you are enrolled in the Drive Safe and Cash In program. All you will need to do is: 1 Drive safely (no accidents in which you re at fault and no moving violations, such as speeding or running a red light) 2 Buckle up every time you re in the car 3 Never drink and drive REMAIN CLAIM-FREE FOR A SECOND YEAR... GET ANOTHER American Express Reward Card If you remain claim- and incident-free for another full year, we will send you a $50 American Express Reward Card (60 days following your enrollment anniversary)! Can I enroll if I m not a customer with MetLife Auto & Home? No. You must have an auto policy with MetLife Auto & Home or be insured on your parent s or guardian s auto policy at the time you enroll and at the time awards are given. When can I enroll? You must be between the ages of 16 and 17 and have your driver s license. But can I enroll if I have my permit? No. You must have your license. But, even if you don t yet have your driver s license or are under the age of 16, get your materials now. Then, as soon as you turn 16 and receive your license, send us your Enrollment Agreement. Exactly when will I receive my $50 American Express Reward Card? Within 60 days of the anniversary of your enrollment, provided that you were claim- and incident-free for that 12-month period. Your enrollment anniversary is the same date as your next auto policy renewal with MetLife Auto & Home following our receipt of your completed Enrollment Agreement. (The renewal date is listed on your insurance policy.) For example, if we receive your Enrollment Agreement in June and your policy renews August 1, then August 1 will be your enrollment date. What if you receive my enrollment after my policy renews? We ll begin your enrollment at your next policy renewal. So, it pays to get your Enrollment Agreement form in early, so you can cash in sooner. continued on other side

4 Drive Safe and Cash In American Express Reward Card What do you mean by being a safe driver? We want you to buckle up every time you re in an auto, never drink and drive, and have no at-fault accidents or moving violations. Suppose I got into an accident, but it wasn t my fault? If it s determined that you re not at fault, you ll remain enrolled in the program. What if I had an accident and it was my fault? If you were at fault, you would not receive the reward for that award year. What would happen if I completed the Sunday Drive and had an incident in my first year? You would remain enrolled in the program to work toward earning an award at your next enrollment anniversary. You would not receive an award for the first year, however you could receive an award for your second year if you remained claim- and incident-free. Suppose I get a parking ticket? Parking tickets are not moving violations, so they do not affect your eligibility. A speeding ticket or running a stop sign, however, is a moving violation. You would, therefore, need to begin working again toward your next year of safe driving. What if I cancel or MetLife Auto & Home cancels my policy? You need to be an auto insurance customer or insured on your parent/guardian s policy with MetLife Auto & Home to participate. If you, or your parent/guardian, no longer have an auto policy with us, then you re no longer eligible for the awards.
