Chris is awoken by his extremely anxious best mate Dan, who moments earlier may have accidentally strangled a girl to death while having sex. Tired and a little hung over the two friends do what anyone would do in that situation, they try to get rid of the body. Early Checkout is a black comedy with a dead weight. 4 KEY PRODUCTION BIOGRAPHIES JIM LOUNSBURY - DIRECTOR Jim grew up in Seattle, and moved to Australia for love in He began his directing career in music videos and documentaries, won best director for his short Not Everyone Can Fly, and has recently been working with The Chaser to direct their new drama series "Writer to Fix" on the ABC. His documentaries include On Mexican Time (Triggerstreet Finalist 2002), Broken Open (Sunscreen Film Festival 2004) and The Code, a five part series. His screenplay Pearl Brothers, co-written with Josh Wakely, was a finalist in the Chesterfield Writers Film Project sponsored by Paramount, and his short film, Gravy premiered internationally at the Brooklyn International Film Festival, and won top ten honours at the Fox Comedy Channel Film Festival. Jim has recently finished three short films, Echo, Possession and Early Checkout, and is writing the feature film, Stillwater. Jim lives in Sydney with Lynnette, the love of his life, and his two sons, Tenzin and Finnian. CLARKE RICHARDS - WRITER / PRODUCER / ACTOR Clarke trained for three years as an actor at The Australian Academy of Dramatic Arts (AADA) in Sydney, Australia. Since graduating he has appeared in numerous theatre productions and T.V. commercials. He is co-founder of Fighting Chance Films. He produced and starred in the short film Cane Cutter, with Dustin Clare, which had itʼs world premiere at Palm Springs ShortFest 08 in the U.S.A. and has since played at both the Melbourne and Sydney underground film festivals. Clarke also won both best actor and best director awards at the Shoot Out 24hr Film making Festival in Newcastle 2008 for his film Our Wedding Tape. The film also recently took out the Best Film Award at the Metro Screen "Tell your story" competition in Sydney. In 2010 Clarke won the best actor award at Tropfest for his performance in the short film Happenstance which he also produced. DUSTIN CLARE - WRITER / PRODUCER / ACTOR Originally from Ballina on the North Coast of NSW, LOGIE award winner Dustin Clare trained as an actor at the prestigious Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts (WAAPA). He has worked in film and television in Australia, including playing legendary Australian aviator Sir Charles Kingsford-Smith in the ABC's Air Australia, J.P. in the film Iron bird and Riley Ward on the internationally successful McLeod's Daughters for which he won the 2007 LOGIE award for the Most Popular New

5 Talent on Australian Television. His writing & directorial debut "Cane Cutter" made itʼs world premier at the Palm Springs ShortFest 08 which he produced with Clarke Richards for their production company Fighting Chance Films. He starred in Satisfaction for three seasons, earning him nominations for both a Best Actor Award at the 47th Annual Monte Carlo Television Awards 2009, and a Most Outstanding Actor Award at the 2009 LOGIE Awards. Dustin won critical acclaim for his portrayal as Christopher Dale Flannery on Underbelly - A tale of two cities. He resides between Los Angeles and Australia. He is best known for his role as Gannicus in the starz network production of Spartacus.
