Learn innovative guided meditation styles weekly. Learn various line dance steps to music through choreographed dance routines. Marcia Bigelow is the Center s instructor with years of experience. Class is offered Wednesdays at 10:00 a.m. for the beginner and 10:45 a.m. for the progressive/advanced line dancer. Come join us at the Town N Country Senior Center located at 7606 Paula Drive Tampa, FL (813) Mah Jongg: This class is the weekly basic beginner instruction of a two thousand year old oriental table tile game supposedly invented by Confucius. Anyone can master this game of strategy and luck. Assemble a collection of red, green and white dragons, flowers, bamboo, winds and more by exchanging tiles and then using strategy to prevent other players from winning a Mah Jongg. Instructional Mah Jongg is available Wednesdays at 9:00 a.m. and Mah Jongg for advanced players is available Mondays at 9:00 a.m. Come join us at the Town N Country Senior Center located at 7606 Paula Drive Tampa, FL Phone: (813) Tai Chi/Qigong: Is an integration of postures (whether moving or stationary), breathing techniques, and mental focus. The slow gentle movements of most forms can be easily adapted, even for the physically challenged and can be practiced by all age groups. The gentle, rhythmic movement of Tai Chi/Qigong reduces stress, builds stamina, increases vitality, and enhances the immune system. It has also been found to improve cardiovascular, respiratory, circulatory, lymphatic and digestive functions. Classes are offered on Mondays and Fridays at 9:30 a.m. and Tuesdays and Thursdays at 1:15 p.m.. There is a small fee of $2.00 per class. Each class if full of zesty Latin, salsa, merengue, cumbia and reggaeton, as well as other music with international flair. It's exercise with exhilarating, easy-to-follow moves that bring on a social atmosphere. Zumba Gold is the perfect fit.
