2 Mission & Impact Statements Mission The Endure Athletics Foundation provides children/youth who are considered homeless and in unstable situations a safe, structured, and encouraging environment to participate in fitness, athletics, & mentorship. The Foundation provides transportation from motels and shelters to the Field of Dreams. On the field we focus on participation of the child/youth and self-improvement through non-competitive sport. Foundation Five Christ Centered People are naturally drawn to believe in something greater than them selves, and they will follow someone whose life reflects a consistent commitment to higher values. Do you not realize about yourselves that Jesus Christ is in you? 2 Corinthians 13:5 Prayer Prayer provides hope in hard times, you re never alone, and God is always with you. Ask, and it will be given to you; Seek, and you will find; Knock, and it will be opened for you. Matthew 7:7 Life Skills Sport provides a platform to learn & understand sportsmanship, how to handle adversity, build character, & self-esteem. Instilling basic life skills such as being on time, work ethic, attitude, & effort. Teaching Life Skills Through Sport Relationships Building a positive relationship that inspires our youth to achieve their goals, which will have a meaningful impact in our community. The things you have learned, received, and heard from me, practice these things, and the God of peace will be with you. Philippians 4:9 Whole Child - Nurturing the whole child, physically, mentally, and spiritually. Train up a child in the way he should go, even when he is old he will not depart from it. Proverbs 22:6 Impact One of the most important aspects of what we do is consistency because most of our kids do not have any consistency in their lives; some don t even know where they are going to sleep the next night or if there is going to be any food to eat. We take pride in the fact that if they relocate, we find them & keep them in our program. Additionally, we are more than an athletic organization; we make sure that all of their basic needs are taken care of - from something as simple as deodorant to things much more important such as food & love. What sets us apart from others is transportation and long-term mentorship. Because we provide transportation, we are able to reach the forgotten kids who are not able to participate in other activities due to lack of transportation or lack of parent involvement. Our specific 2016 accomplishments: Endure Athletics Kids Food Pantry 9 Week Boys Summer Camp Scholarships to Youth NFL Camp Scholarships to MTSU Soccer Camp Exposure to MTSU Needs We are always looking for small organizations to volunteer and champion a month of food & fun interaction with the kids. Another way an organization can support us is to host fundraising events benefiting the Endure Athletics Foundation. Other ways to contribute is to help with: Community Awareness Volunteers & Mentors Kids Food Pantry Sponsorship Other ways to donate, support, or volunteer Please contact us for volunteer opportunities by ing us at jeannie.endureathletics@gmail.com. Donation can be made at: Service Categories Primary Organization Category Youth Development / Youth Development NEC Secondary Organization Category Recreation & Sports / Recreation & Sports NEC Areas of Service Areas Served 2
