This state-of-theart equipment allows diagnostic testing that primarily shows the physiological function of the area tested. Nuclear medicine imaging studies are generally organ or tissue specific. Nuclear medicine tests available at Keller Imaging Center include, but are not limited to: Bone Scan, Hida Scan, Renal Scan, Gastric Emptying Studies, Lung Scan, Liver/Spleen Scans and Thyroid Scan.

6 The Open MRI Option The new Keller Imaging Center features a state-of-the-art.7 Tesla GE open MRI that promises fast, accurate images with increased comfort for patients who may be hesitant to obtain a closed MRI. Because MRI scans can create anxiety for some patients, adding the open MRI option allows for greater ease and reassurance for all patients, but especially for those with specific concerns. Sterotactic Breast Biopsy The Stereotactic breast biopsy system precisely locates suspicious areas in the breast. It is a far less invasive procedure than traditional biopsies that require surgery.
