1 MPI_0603 State Workers Compensation Report Task Sheet Overview This task sheet contains specific information about the MPI_0603 State Workers Compensation report. It includes explanations about the Report Properties dialog pertaining to this report. For more information about the Report Properties dialog, see the Reporting Guide. This report displays the employee and employer portion of Workers Compensation for a given state. This report displays all of the calculated Workers Compensation premiums for all check dates between the selected starting and ending dates. The report displays the subject hours and wages along with the Workers Compensation rates used to calculate the premium. The combined rate on the report is calculated as follows: (experience rate) x (rate factor 3) x (rate factor 4) x (rate factor 5) x (rate factor 6) x (rate factor 7) = combined rate The rate information line turned on with the Show Rate Info check box will only be displayed if you are grouping by Workers Compensation code and Workers Compensation state. Date Selection In the Report Properties dialog, click on the Date Selection tab. The system displays the Date Selection page. As explained in the Reporting Guide, you can use the Override Dates radio button to select specific check date/process number combinations. Millennium actually bases each report on one or the other: the date or the process number. This report is based on the process number. This report uses company style default date ranges, which are: Most Recent Pay Period Current Month MI MPI0603TS 01 1

2 MPI_0603 State Workers Compensation Report Current Quarter Year to Date Override Dates Quarters 1 4 Data Selection In the Report Properties dialog, click on the Data Selection tab. The system displays the Data Selection page. As explained in the Reporting Guide, you can use this page to include company filters to narrow down the selected data for this report. If you want to create a filter, design it to access the following database tables: EWorkersComp CInfo EInfo CWCCodes Subtotals/Breaks In the Report Properties dialog, click on the Subtotals/Breaks tab. 3 Release 3.27 The default Sort Order is WCC Name. Available sorts include: WCC Name WCC ID This report allows only one category in the Groups column (aside from Report Totals ): Workers Comp Code This report allows four categories in the Sorts column. Each additional formula for this report is explained below: State By Date Employee Group Employee Line 1 Type the postal abbreviation for the state you want to process in this report. Put a check in this check box to display all of the data by check date instead of summed up for each employee. Use this drop down list to specify by the data by which Millennium determines a unique employee when the report is run across multiple companies. Valid entries include: ID Employee ID SSN Employee Social Security Number Use this drop down list to specify which piece of employee data is displayed in the first column of employee information: 4 Millennium 3 Task Sheet
