1 General Information: KIPP Austin Public Schools Below are step-by-step instructions for completing online registration forms. If you have more than one student to register, you will be required to complete registration information for each of your students, which you can complete from one guardian/parent account. All forms on-line are available in English and Spanish. Guardians/Parents have 24/7 access to this online enrollment system from April 14 th - May 16 th. For additional information see Frequently Asked Questions at When navigating through forms, click PREVIOUS or NEXT. Do not use your browsers back and forth arrows. All required fields are marked with a red asterisk *. If you miss a required field, it will be highlighted in yellow for you to complete. 1

2 1. To access the Online Registration Login Screen, go to kipp.schoolofficepro.com/parentportal or the district website: and select the Begin Registration button. 2. Login/ Create an Account: a. Select the Español or English button to toggle between English and Spanish b. In the Create Family Account section, complete the desired information. c. Enter the primary guardian s First and Last Name, Username, Password, and select Create Account. d. Note: is not required, but strongly recommended. Select one of the free providers to sign up. e. Note: Username and Password should not have spaces (Username Example: CesarChavez or CesarChavez@gmail.com). Please record your username and password for future reference. 3. If you have already created an account, enter your Username and Password in the Returning User Login, and select Login. a. d. 3. b.+c. 2

3 4. Welcome Screen: a. Select Registration in the upper left menu. a. 5. Student Selection: a. To add/search for your student, complete the information in the Add/Search Student fields on the left. Start by adding students returning to KIPP first, and then add New students. b. Enter your student s first, middle and last name and date of birth. c. Select the Enrolling School your child will be attending in the school year. d. Select the Enrolling Grade your child will be entering in the school year. e. Select Add Student. f. That child s name appears under your KIPP Student List on the right of the screen. g. If you have more than one child returning to KIPP, repeat steps A through E above to add them. h. After all of your students appear in the KIPP Student List, select Go to Registration. a.- d. h. f. e. 3

4 6. Guardian Information: a. Complete all of the required information for the primary guardian. b. Note: All required fields are marked with a red asterisk *. c. To add a second guardian, select Add Another at the bottom of the page, and complete the information for the 2 nd guardian, or select Next, if there is not another guardian. d. After you select Add Another or Next, the Address field may be highlighted in yellow. If a matching address appears in green, select the Matching Address box, and then select Add Another or Next. c. d. 4

5 7. Emergency Contact: a. Complete the contact information (Name, Number, and Relationship) for person(s) who we can contact in emergency situations. b. Select Add Another if you want to add more than one emergency contact, and complete the information for the 2 nd emergency contact, or select Next, if there is not emergency contact. a. b. 8. Texas Employment Survey: a. Review the information and select Yes or No, and then Next. b. If you select Yes, provide the name of all of your students and their birthdays. 5

6 9. Pick up Authorization: a. Complete the contact information (Name, Number, and Relationship) for persons who are authorized, and unauthorized to pick up your student(s). b. Select Next to continue. c. If a legal guardian is unauthorized to pick up your student(s), then a court document must be on file showing that pick up is not allowed. Please provide to school s main office. c. 6

7 10. Student Registration: Note: Your student s name will be on the top of the page. a. Verify and/or update your student s information. b. Provide a previous district and school (Only for New to KIPP students ). c. Select Yes if your student will be using bus transportation. d. When information is completed, select Next. a. b. c. 11. Bus Route Selection: (if selected on previous screen) a. Select a radio button next to the blue bus stop for your student, and then select Next. b. Note: If you select the middle of the blue bus stop, a Google Map will appear in separate window with the exact location. Select the tab at the top of the Google Map to switch back to registration. a. b. 7

8 12. At-Risk Student: Answer all required questions by selecting Yes or No. a. Note: Question #3 does not apply to K-2 students. Select Yes if your student is in K-2 b. Electronically sign your name at the bottom by typing your name, and then select Next. a. 8

9 13. Health Form: (1 of 2) a. Select all health issues that have been diagnosed by a doctor that apply to your student. b. Select Next to continue. 14. Health Form: (2 of2) a. Provide details on any medications that have been prescribed to your student. b. Select all over-the-counter medications that can be provided to your student. c. Detail any food allergies that your student has. d. Electronically sign your name at the bottom by typing your name, and then select Next. 9

10 15. Media Release: a. Select Yes or No to give KIPP media release permission. b. Electronically sign your name at the bottom by typing your name, and then select Next. 10

11 16. Compulsory Attendance: a. Read the compulsory attendance information, and then electronically sign your name at the bottom by typing your name, and then select Next. 17. A la Carte and Second Meals: (does not apply for elementary students) a. If you are interested in allowing your student to purchase additional meal items select Yes, and click Next. Then electronically sign your name, and select Next. b. If you are not interested, then select No. 11

12 18. Special Education: a. Review the information on Special Education/ 504 by selecting the blue button. b. Select Yes or No if your student has received these services. c. Select Yes or No if your student has a physical condition or disability. d. Electronically sign your name at the bottom by typing your name, and then select Next. a. 19. Repeat steps 10-18, if you have more than one student in your KIPP Student List. 20. After you have completed the final form, you will be directed to the main Packet List screen. a. When all forms are completed select Next at the bottom of the screen. b. Select SUBMIT near the top of the page when you are finished. c.
