Developed protocols for quantifying insecticide levels in wheat, aphids, and sunflower tissue using a competitive ELISA technique. Described the exposure of honey bees to seed-treated corn guttation fluid. Organized a graduate student and post-doctorate journal club. Assisted in beneficial insect movement studies using protein markers and ELISAs to track movements between prairies and soybean fields. Studied the diversity of insects in prairies and cattle pastures. Assisted in many public outreach events related to sustainable agriculture.
