1 SETTINGS Access to the SMS service: Configuring access to the SMS service can be found in: - Odeis V12: Miscellaneous - "Settings" - "Operational settings" Choose the tab "Loyalty" - Odeis V12b: Miscellaneous - "Settings" - "SMS Settings" These informations will be given by the ODEIS hot line Receiving number: A maximum of 11 characters without spaces no special symbols (&, _, - are valid) 1/7

2 OPERATION 1) Sending an SMS to a particular client: It is now possible to send sales information to your clients (and/or potential clients) via SMS. To send an SMS to a particular client, you need to: - go to the menu "Clients", "Client management" and select your client. Select the option "Sending an SMS" To send an SMS, it is possible to enter the mobile phone number of your contact in one of the two fields 2/7

3 - After selecting sending an SMS, the following screen appears: Validate: the SMS is displayed on the client's mobile phone Open an existing message (saved on your computer) Save the message input on your PC (in order to re-use it at a later time) When sending numerous messages, it is possible to use 'generic' characters (see page 6) Input your message (limit of 160 characters) 3/7

4 2) Sending an SMS to several clients: Sending multiple SMS is based on a client selection. When your selection is defined, go to the menu "Client" - "Print client" Select the option 'SMS clients' Open an existing message (saved on your computer) Save the message input on your PC (in order to re-use it at a later time) When sending numerous messages, it is possible to use 'generic' Area for writing your message characters (see page 6) 4/7

5 By clicking on the, the following help window appears: These expressions ( <NAME>, <FIRST NAME>,...) are inserted into the text of your SMS in order to personalise it. When sending an SMS, these tags are replaced by the values of the client selection. By sending an SMS, it is thus possible that your clients will be informed in real time of your various sales activities. Warning: The possible personalisation (generic characters) of an SMS in the case of sending an SMS to several clients cannot function with certain Internet providers. 5/7

6 3) Sending an SMS to a client regarding his ASS: The ASS client follow-up is largely facilitated by using an SMS. It is very simple to notify a client that his repair is available in store, or that his estimate is ready. To send an SMS to a client: go to "File management" and select your ASS file and click on the function 'Sending an SMS'. Select the option "Sending an SMS" It is also possible to send a batch of SMS. For example, for all the repairs which are ready and have been returned during a specific period and for which the clients have indicated their mobile phone number 6/7

Warning: You can therefore check the number of SMS available to you in the Statistics tab. When sending a number of SMS greater than that available, those which are additional will not be sent. Tab "statistics" - Display of your remaining credit (in value and number of SMS remaining) - Monitoring any SMS sent by period or in detail (sending and transmission status) 7/7
