1 TRAINING DRILLING CENTER INFORMATION NOTICE In October 2004 Ivano-Frankivsk National Technical University of Oil and Gas (IFNTUOG) was accredited by International Well Control Forum (IWCF) and got the ability to certify drilling personnel by Well Chief manager of IWCF. Opening of unknown formations at big depth increases the risk of losing hydrostatic control in system well-formation, which is the first reason of kick inflow. Follow such situation lack of drilling engineer s qualification and disability to take the immediate action in emergency situation can result at open gusher. Thus, it hearts ecological situation and leaf to financial losses. The solution of these problems was found at international certification of drilling companies and personnel in different countries according to well control course. So, these conditions accelerate international organizations to deal with the questions of blowout security during well drilling in various countries of the world with a help of personnel certification. Training group from public company Ukrtransgas and Ukrgasproduction are self-studying after course of lectures in multimedia room of training drilling centre At this new University s department the main position is at full-size training drilling simulator DRILLSIM 5000, which was created for imitating different technological operations while well drilling at different conditions and also for drilling personnel s knowledge control during gas kick in a well. Training simulator DRILLSIM 5000 is equipped by all imitating consoles for creation real drilling rig control room. There are acoustic effects, which are synchronized with training operations, creates maximum presents of candidate at drilling rig. Soft of training simulator gives to the instructor ability to control all actions of candidates during their practical study and examination. Instructor can change parameters of practical exercises both at the beginning of training and during the training. Immediate changes in drilling or well control conditions during well control operations gives ability to instructor to create stress situation for candidate. It requires immediate candidate s reaction of changed situation and gives them opportunity to evaluate their actions if it was done at real situation. Page 2 out of 8

Education process with candidates has provided by three-stage system: theoretical course, practical course (training simulator) and examination. When a person successfully passes its exam (more than 70% for each exam) it gives him opportunity to get IWCF certificate.
