The university structure comprises 4 academic institutes in Tyumen, colleges and lyceum, distance education center institute of personnel skills improvement and retraining, post-graduate, and Doctoral programs. A list of training fields is extensive: & 38 fields of bachelor s training in petroleum engineering, geology, mechanical engineering, chemical technology, techno-sphere safety, transportation processes, informatics, economics and management, sociology, and other fields, as well as 24 Master s degree fields. Today there are more than students of the university, including more than 1400 foreign students. There are academic laboratories with up-to-date equipment, multimedia classrooms, scientific, creative, and sports clubs and sections, modern dormitories, canteens and cafes, libraryinformation center, and reading rooms, health and recreation center in the center of Tyumen, sanatorium located out of town, training center, and many more at the service of students. The university alumni are employed by the largest companies: FUTURE «Gazprom», «Gazpromneft», «Transneft», «Rosneft», «ТНК-ВР», «LUKOIL», «Weatherford», «Halliburton International», «Schlumberger», «Baker Huges», «КСА Deutag Drilling», and others.

4 Institute of Geology and Oil and Gas Production was established in 2011 on the basis of the Institute of Oil and Gas and Institute of Geology and Geoinformatics. At present there are more than full-time students and more than part-time students. There is the «Earth cryology» department at the institute, which is a unique one in the world, as well as the only in Russia International Training Simulation Center, equipped with the DrillSim 5000 drilling simulator. The institute students are the members of SPE international society of petroleum engineers, which unites professionals from all over the world. The structure of Transport Institute includes 5 chairs which cooperate with the largest enterprises of the region. Along with the highest professional engineering specialties, the Institute offers you in-demand working professions. Institute of Industrial Technologies and Engineering was established on September 1, it comprised previously acting structural university subdivisions, including the Mechanical Engineering Technical School. The integration of all education levels in terms of specialized field principle within the framework of one educational institution enables to use and upgrade the material-and-technical basis of academic and research processes more effectively, give more wide range of knowledge, skills, and abilities for the students. Institute of Management and Business dynamically developing institute, established on the basis of the oldest economic departments of Oil and Gas University and has rich traditions in training competitive, specialists in demand at the labor market. An individual approach towards each student, maximal combination of universality and professionalism that is the main principles of operation for the Institute of Management and Business.

Training of students is carried out in educational system Educon in which the electronic educational and methodical complexes (EEMC) developed by teachers of TSOGU are placed. The structure of Electronic teaching materials (ETM) includes lecture materials, tasks to a practical training with examples, virtual laboratory works, tests all that is necessary for the student for high-quality training. Except Educon system, videoconferences, webinars as well as other modern technologies of training are also used in educational process. The center of distance education gives opportunity to pass entrance tests to applicants from the remote regions of the country on the Internet by means of Skype or Adobe Connect programs.

8 Tyumen State Oil and Gas University is cosmopolitan, as the whole Russia. Several thousand student community brightly represents the peoples of Russia. Today there are students from other parts of the world, who study at the university together with the Russian ones. The international activity is one of priority fields for establishing a university of the world level. There are representatives of more than 30 countries studying at TSOGU. The geography of the countries from which the students come, is quite vast: Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Turkmenistan, Tajikistan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia, Latvia, Moldova, Kyrgyzstan, Bulgaria, China, Colombia, Ghana, Mongolia, Germany, Iraq, Great Britain, Angola, Cote d'ivoire, Syria, Uzbekistan, Bangladesh, Venezuela, Turkey, Egypt, Italy, Yemen, Israel, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina. Among the main objectives of a university, admitting international students for studying is their adaptation to the life in a different country, acquaintance with culture and traditions of various nations. In order to solve this problem, contribute to the development of international students union in Tyumen, strengthen and establish friendly relations between students of different countries, develop a spirit of peacefulness, tolerance, and non-admission of nationalism, racism, and extremism, unite students for completion of the own projects there is TSOGU International Club.

9 TYUMEN STATE OIL AND GAS UNIVERSITY International Festival «Generation with no limits» annually unites more than 500 participants: foreign students of the largest universities of Russia, representatives of Administration, the region, and educational institutions, social organizations, diasporas. Project of the TSOGU International Club «School of foreign languages». The essence of the project is that TSOGU international students teach everyone who wishes: to learn English, Spanish, French, and even Chinese, is easy in a comfortable atmosphere of conversation with the native speakers.
