Make several bars of soap with vegetable oils, scented with essential oils and colored in various ways. Learn how to prepare molds, labels and calculate ingredient quantities. They can be enjoyed as elements of creativity and beauty, or incorporate spiritual elements that are representative of the artist. 7 ARTS & CRAFTS NEW STILL LIFE DRAWING 6 WKS $70+ Beginning with a single object and then expanding to multiple objects, learn value, shading, and blending techniques that allow you to create a variety of textured looks. Phase will be setting up and warping the loom; Phase 2 will be finishing. Students create and complete a wool scarf from beginning to end during class. When the mind is calm, no matter what we endeavor to do, it yields good fruits. It is essential to understand the relationship between meditation and Japanese calligraphy because what we put on paper is a reflection of our own mind. In this class, students will learn the fundamentals of brush-writing, including body mechanics and the relationship of calligraphy to Zen meditation. In addition, you will learn how to add WordPress pages, a custom menu, upload media files, and add a contact form. Through this ancient art form you will learn to isolate arm, hip, and torso movements, as well as put a little shimmy in your dance.
