2 Thursday, October 9 7:30 a.m. 9:00 a.m. Bike fitting and adjusting. 9:00 a.m. 12:30 p.m. Ride around America s most beautiful and scenic Lake Tahoe. Distances and climbs will be incorporated based upon ability. 12:30 p.m. 2:00 p.m. Lunch at West Shore Café. 2:00 p.m. 4:00 p.m. Options: More bike riding, SUP (Stand-Up Paddle boarding) and/or kayaking, scenic hike, relax in the sun. 4:00 p.m. 6:00 p.m. Sunset sail or boat transfer from the West Shore to Kern Schumacher s estate. 7:00 p.m. Dinner on the lake.

3 Friday, October 10 9:30 a.m. Noon Horseback Riding. Once in a lifetime experience to ride untouched meadows in the Sierra Nevada Mountains and swim with your horse in Lake Tahoe. Option: If horseback riding is not your thing, you may choose to play a round of golf or simply relax at the spa or lake. 12:30 p.m. Transfer by boat to lunch at Camp Kern on the lake. 2:00 p.m. Bike adjustment and fitting. 2:30 p.m. Depart for the Flume Trail. 3:00 p.m. By Doug Schnitzspahn, National Geographic Online Encircling the largest alpine lake in North America, the 165- mile (266-kilometer) Tahoe Rim Trail just may be the single track with the greatest view in the United States. More than 80 miles (129 kilometers) of the trail are open to mountain bikes. In fact, the riding here is so sublime that the International Mountain Bicycling Association (IMBA) named the 21.8-mile (35-kilometer) section between Tahoe Meadows and Spooner Summit as one of its Epics, an honor bestowed on trails that epitomize the best that mountain biking has to offer. Ride the Flume Trail For good reason:... with spectacular views of Tahoe to the west and the Nevada desert to the east. Nine miles (14 kilometers) in, you ll split off onto the adjacent 22-mile (35- kilometer) Flume Trail, which starts at the Spooner Lake campground. Though not officially part of the Rim Trail itself, it s the signature ride here... just remember, it s tough to keep your eyes on the trail with all those eye-popping views of the lake. One of the best things about the rides on the Rim Trail is that it can be just as much fun for novices as it is for fat-tire vets. 7:00 p.m. Dinner on the lake at Kern Schumacher s estate prepared by Executive Chef Joseph Koeller.

4 Saturday, October 11 We ll decide on short notice between listed Virginia City or Squaw Valley/Homewood ride. Your luggage will be transported to the Silver Legacy Resort & Casino in Reno and will be waiting in your room. To insure proper delivery, please have all your bags packed with a name tag and placed at the end of your bed for pickup. 9:00 a.m. Depart for historic Virginia City tour via scenic car ride. For the passionate cyclist, you may opt to ride to Virginia City (approximately 60 miles). Virginia City sprang up as a boomtown on top of the Comstock Lode, the first major silver deposit discovered in the United States, in 1859 and is considered the birthplace of Mark Twain. Early morning option to enjoy a round of golf at one of Tahoe s finest. Noon 1:30 p.m. Lunch in Virginia City maybe at the Bucket of Blood Saloon or the Red Dog Saloon. 1:30 p.m. 3:30 p.m. Begin Ride with Legends joined by VIP guests. Moderate climb up Geiger Grade followed by a descent via the Truckee River/Tahoe Pyramid Bikeway to downtown Reno (approximately 35 miles). 3:30 p.m. Arrival and welcome at the Italian Festival. 4:30 p.m. Silver Legacy Resort & Casino 407 N. 5 Sunday, October 12 7:00 a.m. 8:00 a.m. Breakfast for Champions at the Silver Legacy. 8:00 a.m. Ride with Legends Depart from Reno Arch. Options: Everyone will ride the first 15 miles together with the legends at a moderate pace regardless of your ability. Rest stops will be every 15 to 20 miles. Expert - An incredible scenic 100-mile ride with 7,418 feet of climbing. Reno-Tahoe-Reno. Advanced - An incredible scenic 73.9-mile with 2,829 feet of climbing. Reno-Tahoe-Reno. Intermediate An easy 30-mile plus loop with 1,500 plus feet of climbing. Noon 5:00 p.m. Post ride lunch at the Italian Festival with entertainment options (grape stomp, bocce ball, live music, food and wine tasting). 7:00 p.m. Legends Ride Celebration Dinner.
