AKC JUMP HEIGHT CARDS All agility dogs are required to have an Official Jump Height Card. All exhibitors must present the card(s) prior to running their dog(s) in any class or at any time during the trial upon request whether or not they have sent a copy of such with their entry. However, if a Volunteer Measuring Official (VMO) or an Agility Field Rep is present; ALL dogs without a valid Jump Height Card must be measured at some time during the trial. This does not preclude having the dog measured by the Judge of Record if the VMO or Rep is not available to measure the dog before its first run of the trial. It is the exhibitor s responsibility to have their dog measured prior to running and failure to do so will result in the cancellation of any qualifying scores.

3 RIBBONS & ROSETTES Green strip ribbons are awarded for all qualifying scores. Rosettes are awarded to 1 st through 4 th place dogs in each class/jump height. Discount entry certificates ($5) will be given to all first place winners. Special rosettes are given to new title winners, and MACH and PAX winners receive a special rosette and poles. Dogs must qualify to receive a placement. Awards must be claimed at the trial; none will be mailed. TRIAL HOURS The building will be open to exhibitors at 6:30 AM. Self-service check-in will begin at 7 AM both days. Excellent class judging will begin no earlier than 8 AM. Exact running order will be determined after entries close and will be provided in the Judging Program. Two rings will be running simultaneously. This set of trials uses electronic timers. RING DIMENSIONS & SURFACE Both rings are 100 x 90 (9.000 square feet). The trial is held in an indoor arena (neither air-conditioned nor heated), and the running surface is packed dirt. ARMBAND REQUIREMENT All competitors MUST wear armband(s) while running. Competitors will not be admitted to the rings if their armband(s) are not visible. TRIAL VETERINARIAN ON CALL Emergency Animal Clinic of Collin County, Custer Road, Plano, TX 75023, Directions and maps will be available at the trial. EXHIBITOR INFORMATION Exhibitors should follow their veterinarian s recommendation to assure their dogs are free of internal and external parasites, any communicable diseases and have appropriate vaccinations. All dogs present must be on leash or confined in crates when not being judged. Exhibitors may wear shirts or insignia of their training group. The safety of the dogs is our primary concern. By entering this trial, exhibitors acknowledge that they are familiar with the rules and regulations of this sport, and that their dogs are familiar with and able to perform all the obstacles safely. Exhibitors are responsible for complete, accurate, and legible information on their entry forms; illegible or incomplete entries will not be accepted. DFWESSA and the Trial Secretary have no obligation or responsibility to provide a public address system or stewards to call or locate dogs that are not present at the ring when required.
