1 The Jobs Screen Optomate Premier allows you to track your jobs via the Jobs Section, which can be accessed from the main screen. If you want to Receive your jobs into Optomate, send Pickup Reminders, Manage your Phone and SMS Follow Up contacts or lens orders, the Jobs screen is for you. Receive Use this section to track all of your current jobs. Click Receive when a job arrives at your practice, Mark off the jobs that have arrived at your practice by ticking the Receive box. (Click all jobs that have arrived including frame, lens and contact lenses.) Then click save. This will update the Date received in the patient s files. Optomate Online Section In the Optomate Online section, you will find the Order Status button that will provide Optomate Online customers, real time access to the progress of their lens ordered through the GenOp Lab. Click here to open a list of your current General Optical lab, lens jobs ordered through Optomate online. Optomate training Compendium The Job Screen Page 1

2 SMS Section In this section you will find several tools to communicate with your customers via SMS. These include: Pickup Reminders: Click this button to send an SMS to customers that you have received their job that day. This will include Frame & Lens, Lens only and Contact Lens jobs. Receive SMS Responses: This will prompt Optomate to download any new SMS messages sent to your practice since you last ran this. Follow up Jobs: This will send out a form SMS to all customers that have picked up their glasses or contact lenses at a predetermined time after the pickup date. C/L reorder Reminder: This will send out a form SMS to all Contact Lens customers to remind them that their supply of contact lens is nearly due for replenishment. Section Lens order to Supplier Where you have input your Lens Labs s into Optomate, Use this button to order a lens via . Rx To Patient your patients a copy of their script. C/L Reorder Reminders Keep your loyal Contact lens patients aware when it is time to re-order their next supply of contact lenses. Telephone Section Follow up This is a report of customers that have made a purchase within a predetermined time frame for staff to call to personally follow up on their purchase and experience at your practice. Print Section Job Card: A card showing the details of the job. This is used to have a physical reference within your practice of the ordered job. Optomate training Compendium The Job Screen Page 2

3 Lens Order: An A5 sheet showing the details of the order. This is used to have a physical reference within your practice of the ordered job. RX Only: A sheet showing only the Patient Script Optomate training Compendium The Job Screen Page 3

4 Unordered Jobs: This report outlines the Job Date and the Required Date of all unordered jobs. This information can also be found in Optomate Today. Repair Card: An A5 sheet showing the details of the order. This is used to have a physical reference within your practice of the ordered job. Follow Up Letter: This is a user created template. A template can be created for each of the different Job Types Specs, Contacts or Repairs. Once the template is created you can set the default template under the File menu System Settings Jobs. C/L Reorder Reminder: This is a user created template. The default template is set under the File menu System Settings Jobs. The template is used for both the printed letter and the body of the . 5 Settings for your Jobs Go to File System settings Jobs When creating follow up and reorder letters, ensure they are saved as Rich Text Format (RTF). SMS Here you will find the section to set up the text messaging for your SMS Text. An SMS has a maximum of 160 characters. Please note that in this section it shows the merge options for SMS ([NAME], [BRANCH], etc.) however for the Follow Up SMS the merge [JOB] is replaced with [TYPE] (not shown as an option).
