We provide flexible professionally recognised courses to meet the national & international challenges faced in the health, social care and education related arenas. Our courses and workshops will meet your continuing professional developmental needs whether you re from an academic or a professional background. They are developed in collaboration with health, social care and education providers so they re absolutely relevant to the workplace you wish to progress in. In the post Francis report era all our courses and modules have the NHS Constitution embedded and the 6 Cs as a foundation. By delivering flexibly we meet changing workforce needs and demands. We also provide specialist and bespoke education on request. The School of Nursing & Midwifery is part of our Faculty of Health, Social Care & Education the largest provider of courses and continuous professional development (CPD), across the East of England.

3 Be inspired by hands-on experts Research matters Many of our experienced tutors are respected authors producing a wide range of cutting-edge research which receive national and international recognition. You ll have the opportunity to explore real issues across primary, secondary and tertiary healthcare settings. CPD provision Life-long learning and CPD are essential requirements for all qualified healthcare professionals in order to maintain and develop knowledge and skills for quality care provision. The importance of CPD is further highlighted by the new re-validation processes proposed by the Nursing & Midwifery Council (NMC). Our wide range of flexible educational opportunities enable you to study for parttime academic awards and stand-alone modules at undergraduate and postgraduate level. All our courses are designed to enhance patient care and service development whilst achieving academic credit and awards. You ll find a team of highly motivated, experienced lecturers who are also professionals in their field. Providing courses and modules which will facilitate meeting the challenges of the Education Outcomes Framework (EOF). You may get funding from Health Education East of England. Your Education Liaison Manager will advise you regarding contract funded places. CPD should be an integral part of the appraisal process.
