This act of Penance is not obligatory as it is during Lent. If a person cannot observe this discipline then another personal act of penance should be performed in Lent. CLEMENT OF ROME We will be offering an 11-week Bible study on the book of Psalms. Sessions will be offered on both Tuesday mornings from 9-10:45am in the Parish Center and Thursday evenings from 7-8:45pm in Vosbein Hall beginning Feb. 24. The book of Psalms is the only book of the Bible that is used in every liturgy, so this is a great opportunity to enhance your understanding and experience of the Mass during Lent.
