6 Select your message. Message A Dear Parishioners, Christmas is a time of anticipation. Children and even adults wait anxiously for the weeks, days, and hours to tick down to Christmas. Advent is our time of spiritual anticipation. Just as Mary did, we watch and wait in hope for the birth of our Lord. We prepare ourselves for His arrival with penance and prayer. Take some extra time this Christmas to join your anticipation to Mary s and wait alongside our Blessed Mother for the birth of Christ. In Christ, Message B Dear Parishioners, One of the phrases Christmas brings to mind is Peace on Earth. What a beautiful vision. It is at Christmas that this vision almost seems to be a possibility. We are kinder to one another. We think of others and give more than we do any other time of the year. We carry with us a spirit of peace. In the midst of the shopping, cooking, and wrapping, take some time to find even a little bit of peace and share it with others.
