14 Attendance at Exams Morning exams begin at 8.45am (students to arrive at 8.20am) Afternoon exams begin at 1.30pm (students to arrive at 1.10pm) Full uniform must be worn at all times. Equipment at least 2 BLACK biros & pencils (pencil cases must be clear); Exam Card Calculators required for all Science exams and some Maths (must not have cases/lids) NO MOBILE PHONES or any other equipment capable of communication with the Internet e.g. ipods, smart watches, earpieces etc.
15 Exam Period Policy of no homework from Maths and English during this time. Afternoon exams we aim for students to leave in time for buses but this can change due to circumstance Students have individualised timetables
16 Results GCSE Results Day Thursday 20 th August Year 11 9am-11am Year am 1pm Results can only be collected by persons other than the student if a signed letter of written authorisation from the student is given to the Examinations Officer. The nominated person will be required to show ID when collecting the certificates. Results can be posted home (by prior arrangement) if the student completes a self addressed envelope and pays the cost of a First Class stamp.

19 Future Destinations In order to study at PGS Post 16 students require a B in the subject at GCSE. 5 A*-C benchmark for further study college, post 16, apprenticeships, jobs. Progress 8 new measure, score of their best 8 GCSE s.
