3 BYGGMÄSTAR N I SKÅNE AB We construct, expand and renovate projects for the public, and private, sectors and property companies in Skåne. With a high level of technical and administrative expertise we strive to construct sound, first-rate buildings while achieving an optimal joint total cost of ownership in cooperation with our customers. PROFESSIONAL INDUSTRIAL BUILDER Since breaking ground on our first building, we have conducted construction projects for the industrial and commercial sectors in Skåne, working with a number of large and well-known customers over the years. Industrial construction is a key aspect of our production operations. Since several of our customers are listed companies, and thus exposed to intense international competition, we as an industrial builder often face new requirements and challenges, ranging from short construction periods to technically complicated civil engineering projects. EXTENSIVE CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE IN THE AREA OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION Over the years, we have continuously been entrusted with the task of conducting construction projects on behalf of the Skåne Region and a number of municipalities in Skåne. It is our job to ensure that this trust is preserved. Cooperation with professional and competent customers in the public sector contributes actively to our development as a quality-conscious construction company. We have extensive experience of building for municipalities and county councils and know what it takes to do the job right. The personal, direct contact we are able to offer thanks to our small, unbureaucratic organization provides our customers with ample opportunities to influence projects throughout the construction process and ensures that we jointly achieve the right level of quality and complete the projects within the agreed time frame. WE RENOVATE AND REBUILD The lifetime of most buildings far exceeds their original function. They need to be renovated, adapted and rebuilt several times throughout the years. Accordingly, projects of this sort are a key component of our daily operations, sometimes so frequent and continuous that we feel like part of the customer s organization. Our operations are governed by a certified integrated quality and environmental-management system in accordance with the international standards ISO 9001:2008, 14001:2004 and OHSAS 18001:2007. We are particularly deeply committed to environmental and energy issues. Reducing energy consumption is crucial for our future environment, and Byggmästar n i Skåne strives to particiape in creating a healthier and greener building construction. is a medium-sized construction company founded in The company has 220 employees, who jointly conduct sales totaling approximately SEK Our customers include private industry, major Swedish property companies and public administration services. Our operations are primarily conducted in western Skåne from our three offices in Arlöv (Malmö), Landskrona and Helsingborg.
4 SOME OF OUR PROJECTS EMPORIA, MALMÖ We have, during , completed a tenant adaptation of facilities for future offices, shops and restaurant. The project was part of the construction of Emporia, Malmö s biggest shopping center. ARKITEKTGATANS PRESCHOOL, MALMÖ We were commissioned in 2012 to build a new preschool in Malmö. Our client was Malmö stad and the preschool has two levels, containing four different departments. The project was finished in KV. KULAN 3, HELSINGBORG During we build new office and storage facilities for Briggen Fastighets AB. The facilities are today leased by Puma. SANDHOLMEN, RYDEBÄCK We have build new apartment buildings in Rydebäck. The building, finished in late 2014, consist of four levels with 40 apartments and a parking garage. GRUSBACKEN 3, HELSINGBORG We have built new offices for Bravida in Helsingborg. The project, that was build , has two levels with changing rooms, workshop, warehouse and a detached building with cold storage. The building is eco-labeled accoring to Greenbuilding.
5 BYGGMÄSTAR N I SKÅNE S PURCHASING PROCESS The purchasing process at Byggmästar n i Skåne AB is similar to that of other Swedish construction companies. Below is a brief description of how our purchasing process is structured and we hope that you consider this a clear description. 1. We receive inquiries regarding construction projects that are to be bid on. 2. After assessing each individual project, we select the projects that we regard as most attractive for us and for which we consider that we can be competitive. 3. We go through the project and review the materials and services required to implement the project. 4. We send our requests to appropriate suppliers and subcontractors, including yourselves. We normally use our request for information template for requests and this is sent by together with project documentation attached. For certain projects, we use our own portal at to make it easier for our suppliers and subcontractors to retrieve documents related to the project. 5. Bills of quantities do not usually occur in Sweden. Our customers do not prepare bills of quantities and nor do we. 6. We want the suppliers and subcontractors that do not have the possibility or time, or do not offer the product requested to inform us that they do not intend to submit a quote. 7. We always try to give our suppliers and subcontractors reasonable time to prepare their quotes. 8. It is important that we receive the quotes not later than the date stated in our request for information. 9. When we have received the quotes, we review the content to ensure that we have secured the price that was requested. 10. A day or so after receipt of the quote, we, in turn, submit our offer to our customer. 11. The time required for the customer s evaluation process varies, but we get back to you with the information as soon as the decision has been made. Sometimes evaluations take a very long time due to appeals. 12. When we have received an order for a construction contract, we prioritize the companies that are positioned early in the construction process and those with long delivery times. We subsequently contact the other companies as the purchasing process moves forward. Our purchasing is conducted on business terms and is subject to competition. 13. All purchase orders are to be made in writing and we prepare a contract between us and the supplier or subcontractor. Our contracts always specify that Swedish industry regulations apply: AB-U 07, ABT-U 07 or ABM 07, since these are the requirements that are adapted to the structure of our business with our customers.
