2 Introduction Stauff introduces the capabilities of our new Tube Technology Centre and. Our facility offers the following services: Tube Bending and Forming Tube bending of both metric and imperial seamless tubing. Metric sizes Ø6 through Ø42 mm Imperial sizes Ø1/4 through Ø2 Tube fitting technology offered includes, pre assembly of DIN 2353 fittings, flared fittings and end forming by the STAUFF Form method. Flow meter testing and calibration service. Service offered on our versatile test rig with flow meters traceable to national standards. Pressure Gauge Testing and Calibration Check Inspection Repair and refurbishment service Design and drafting services. Custom filter cart designs available. Assembly and detailed drawings to suit your tender. Filter canister private labeling service with our curved surface Screen Printer to your artwork. Light fabrication and welding services 1

3 Tube bending of both metric and imperial seamless tubing. The Stauff TUBOTRON 50 NC tube bending machine is suitable for bending seamless tubing up to and including Ø50mm. Our bender is a mandrel bender of the rotary draw type and, like all benders of this type, requires a short length of straight material between bends to allow for the requisite clamping block feature. The amount of straight material required varies with tube diameter. The Tubotron 50 Tube Manipulation Centre Is suitable for annealed and normalised steel seamless tubing St37.4, or similar, ƒyield = 315 n/mm2. (MPa) Is also suitable for annealed Austenitic stainless steel seamless tubing materials ƒyield = 250 n/mm2. (MPa) For other materials please consult your local Stauff office. This machine is complemented by our Tube-O-Scan 3D digitising tool for fast and accurate drafting of customer supplied sample tube assemblies, and is also utilised to batch check manipulated tube. Our TUBOTRON 50 machine produces final tube assemblies via a dedicated three dimensional software program. Tube-O-Scan Tube Design 2

We remain always happy to review any request for manipulated tube assemblies however your assistance by providing drawn information in our standard form will often assist a timely and accurate end result. * Once plotted into our dedicated software your tube assembly design will be stored electronically for retrieval and production of subsequent assemblies at any time. The completed tube assembly may be shipped with a choice of tube and forming systems as shown on page 4. On completion of bending and forming procedures the tube assembly will be cleaned by the Stauff Tube Clean system to ensure a trouble free installation and packed suitably for transport. 6 Flow Testing and Calibration Service Our dedicated test rig is capable of providing flow testing facilities for inspection and certificate issue against flow meters and other devices. This rig utilises ISO32 grade hydraulic fluid, temperature controlled for accurate testing based on minimal viscosity variations. We offer a comprehensive test and calibration service against Webtec Instruments flow meters and a full maintenance and repair facility for these devices. We are also able to offer a flow testing and limited repair facility against other manufacturer s flow meters. Our test facility features the following capacities and test devices. Flow capacity from 2 to 550 LPM Maximum pressure in the range of 350 Bar. Capacity = 50 LPM at 350 Bar = 550 LPM at 190 Bar Kracht gear meter VC1FPS Suitable for service in the range 0.4 to 80 LPM Webster flow turbine LT250 Suitable for service in the range 10 to 300 LPM Webster flow turbine LT750 Suitable for service in the range 30 to 800 LPM Note: Max. flow capacity on Test Rig 550 LPM Stauff Pressure/Flow Test Rig These units are returned to the manufacturer on a rotational basis for calibration against traceable devices and issue of master certificates traceable to British national standards. Pressure Gauge Testing and Accuracy Check Our facility includes a Stauff PPC-04 unit complete with a Bar transducer for pressure testing and recording purposes. This transducer is certified and traceable to NATA standards. This service is of particular use for gauge comparator purposes and checking accuracy. A workshop certificate of accuracy is provided with each gauge tested. Pressure Gauge Test Station 5

7 Inspection Repair and Refurbishment Service Stauff TTC features a lathe with a well equipped workshop facility complemented by a trained and experienced staff. We are able to offer an inspection and repair service to: Maximator pumps Webster fl ow meters Mueller Coax valves Kracht Pumps and Valves General Stauff inventory items Elwood valves both Pilot and main body sections Whilst most repairs are possible in house, the Stauff TTC remains the most viable technical contact with the manufacturer in the event of further technical assistance being required. Design and Drafting Services There are times in today s quality assured traceable world when a premium product and an invoice is just not enough. For some applications a drawing or perhaps, an operation manual is a necessity. Stauff TTC can provide drafting of Stauff applications to Australian Standard AS1100. Filter cart for heavy gear oil ISO 680 Hand in hand with our drafting service is the ability to meet customer specialised requirements such as fi lter carts for heavy grade gear oils and hydraulic testers for the mining industry. Filter Canister Private Labeling Service FTM400R Hydraulic Tester Our facility includes a curved screen printer for the purpose of private labeling spin on fi lter canisters. This semi automated process is comfortably capable of producing approximately 100 printed canisters per day. We stock 10µm and 25µm nominal rated canisters in both 3 nominal diameter and 5 nominal diameter, with both BSPP and SAE connecting threads. Absolute rated elements are also available. Screens can be produced for canisters from customer supplied artwork subject to a one off charge for this service. Light Fabrication and Welding Services Our workshop includes MIG and TIG welding facilities as well as the more traditional carbon arc methods. Combining our in house welding abilities with our lathe and other workshop equipment, we have the ability to fabricate to your requirements including benches, valve stand benches, fi lter trolleys and other specialised requirements. 6
