5 TRANSPORT AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT BRIDGING WHAT MAKES THE TRANSPORT AND SUPPLY CHAIN MANAGEMENT BRIDGING PROGRAMME UNIQUE? Students with a Grade 12 certificate to pursue a career in Transport or Logistics This programme has been developed to allow prospective students who possess a Gr 12 certificate but without endorsement to a Diploma level to improve their qualification in order to be able to proceed to Diploma studies in Transport and Logistics. This programme is unique to the Department of Transport and Supply Chain at the University of Johannesburg. It has been developed in consultation with the Transport and Logistics Industry in order to allow students to improve their career advancement prospects in the industry. CONTACT SESSIONS Tuition sessions are held in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town. ADMISSION REQUIREMENTS Grade 12 with certificate endorsement A good working knowledge of English Study material will be available only in English Relevant documentation (seen how to enrol) Computer Literacy and Internet access 5

These study schools, are conducted in Johannesburg, Durban and Cape Town respectively. The duration of the study schools is for four (4) consecutive days only. Details regarding these study schools will be made available to registered students. Students are responsible for their own refreshments, meals, travel and accommodation arrangements. Attach a sworn English translation of documents (students from non- English medium schools only). Attach a certified copy of passport or identity card electronically. PLEASE NOTE The University does not register students who submit incomplete documentation or do not attach the necessary documents required for registration. Once you have been accepted (EA code) you will be able to view and print your admittance letter (only available before registration). You will be notified via SMS to register online for the programme you applied for. Refer to the finance leaflet for fees payable prior to registration. Your study material will be couriered to you once your registration has been completed (not applicable to on-campus registration).
