By giving one of these, you can help us provide a new family, education and healthcare to orphaned and abandoned children in our SOS Children s Village Basse in The Gambia. 7 Alternative Christmas Gifts Would you like to give a present this Christmas that will help change lives? By giving one of our Alternative Gifts, you can help us provide a new family, education and healthcare to orphaned and abandoned children at our SOS Children s Village Basse in The Gambia. The SOS Village is made up of 12 family houses that provide a home for more than a hundred vulnerable children, many of whose mothers died during childbirth. Here the children have found the love and security of a new SOS mum and family, are able to attend the SOS Schools and receive all the medical care they need. The SOS schools are also available to children from the local community where educational services are extremely basic. By sending one of our Alternative Christmas Gifts, you can help us to provide children in The Gambia with a safe and secure childhood and a future. Your donation will go towards supporting the SOS Children s Village Basse. Whether you prefer to sponsor an SOS child or an SOS Children s Village, your money will help us make a big difference to orphaned and abandoned children. But your support isn t just about money. It can be a very special feeling for the child or Village that you re helping to know that someone, even on the other side of the world, is thinking about them and cares for their well-being.
