3 Programme schedule 1. Buses will be arranged from Coimbatore to Karunya University at 5.30 AM, 6.00AM, 7.00 AM, 9.00 AM and AM from City Bus Stand Gandhipuram (Near Hotel Tamil Nadu) and from Railway Station (Near State Bank of India) at 7.30 AM and AM. 2. The parents and candidates must assemble in the New auditorium for admission at 8.30 AM. The University Officials of Karunya University will address the gathering. 3. The parents and candidates should go to different counters for certificate verification, submission of certificates, payment of fees, signing of undertakings etc. 4. Breakfast and Lunch will be provided for all the parents and students in the New Auditorium. 5. The parents can leave the campus after leaving their wards in the Hostels. General Instructions 1. Personal belongings such as beddings, bucket & mug, mosquito net, warm clothes, plate, cup and standard lock and key should be brought by the candidate for their own use. The above items may be purchased from our University Utility store also. 2. Students reporting for admission without any of the required certificate(s) will not be permitted to attend the classes. 3. Please note that if any discrepancy with reference to educational qualifications, name, community, age and Nativity is found during the course of his/her studies or if the qualification possessed by the candidate is not accepted by the UGC as per the regulations, the candidate shall not be permitted to continue the course of study and the admission will be cancelled. 4. Names of candidates who are absent themselves continuously for more than five days without valid reasons from the date of admission will be struck off from the rolls. 5. Dress Code Boys Students must neatly dressed in formals and clean-shaven with decent hair cut at all times when in the campus. Earring & Ear studs are not permitted. Formal trousers, shirts (tucked in) and shoes whenever they are in the University campus. During University functions and on special occasions, they should wear University Uniform (blue blazer and tie). T-shirts / Jeans (of any type including cargo) and low waist trousers are not permitted. Girls Girl students are required to wear either Salwar Kameez or Churidhar with Dupatta pinned at the shoulders or Sarees and should wear University Uniform [Blue blazer] on special occasions. Casual dress [Jeans & decent T-shirt with collar and sleeves (for boys), Jeans and long Kurtas (for girls)] is permitted on working Saturdays. 6. No cell phone is permitted in the University campus.
