2 Triaminononane (TA) is a low molecular weight specialty performance material with three amine groups of equivalent activity. Applications of TA range from a more environmentally friendly way to produce polyurethane finish to use as an ingredient to enhance physical properties of paper, nylon and adhesives, and herbicide formulations. TA can also be used to produce curing agents, corrosion inhibitors, plasticizers, cross linkers and chelating and complexing agents. In this brochure, we ve included the physical properties of TA and eleven possible applications, but please use your imagination... The reaction products of TA with fatty acids, esters, and alkyl halides may be used as wetting and emulsifying agents. TA and its hydroxyl derivatives can be used as an effective scrubbing agent for weak acids i.e. 2 and 2 S from fluid streams and provides superior advantage over conventional ethanolamines.
