For those who want to know the full story of Tax Chartered Tax Consultant is the tax qualification for Chartered Accountants and is only open to members and International Reciprocal members of Chartered Accountants Ireland: ACA/FCA and student members who have successfully completed CAP 2. There is no requirement to take the FAE Tax elective. Chartered Tax Consultant has a level of flexibility that successfully meets the needs of both experienced and newly qualified members building on the foundations of Chartered Accountancy. Members who hold other recognised tax qualifications (from ITI or CIOT) may apply for exemptions from Applied Tax and progress their skills.
