3 The Danish Intelligent Energy Alliance (Branchefællesskab for Intelligent Energi) invites you to an exclusive Smart Grid & Cybersecurity conference at Cambridge University 20 June The conference will be held at Madingley Hall, The aim of this conference is to create more awareness on cybersecurity and ensure relevant issues are embedded at the top level decision making in the energy sector. At the conference Danish and international key players will share their knowledge and experience with risk management and protection of critical infrastructure. Meet key players from the energy sector and IT industry such as IBM, Microsoft, PA Consulting Group, Landis+Gyr and leading Danish energy companies and discover their views on solutions to the challenges ahead. We hope to see broad participation from leading companies in the energy sector and the Industry. Logistics and Practical information Participation in the conference is free of charge for members of the Danish Intelligent Energy Alliance (Branchefællesskab for Intelligent Energi). The fee for non-members are 1995 DKK (270 EUR) The conference includes a sightseeing tour at Cambridge University and participation in a dinner at 20 June. The train to Cambridge depart from the airport (30 minutes traveling time) Sign up for the conference: About The Danish Intelligent Energy Alliance The Danish Intelligent Energy Alliance is the largest Smart Grid platform for cooperation and partnerships in Denmark, The Alliance encompasses all key stakeholders (135 member companies by end of March 2013) in and around the energy sector to identify barriers and address the right conditions and environment for investments in new Smart Grid solutions. The Alliance has initiated work on how to deal with cybersecurity in a future Smart Grid. The aim of this conference is to create more awareness on cybersecurity and ensure relevant issues are embedded at the top level decision making in Danish energy companies. In this context, the link between protection of critical infrastructure and business development in the energy sector, is also important to highlight.

4 About the international speakers Jon Z Bentley Executive Partner, IBM Global Business Services Jon has worked with clients in all public and private sectors. His wide experience includes organisational culture change in the aerospace & defence sector, business applications and customer management for a variety of communications, utility and government clients and process re-engineering in physical commodities and in healthcare. He has written and co-authored white papers looking at issues relating to sustainability, climate change, innovation and the energy sector. Jon began his consulting career with Price Waterhouse in 1985 in information systems where he quickly focused on user-centric design, rapid prototyping and technology-enabled process change. This led to a lasting professional interest in behavioural change and the people aspects of transformation both important to the success of large, complex business and IT programmes and key to resolving the problems facing the world in energy consumption, carbon emissions, sustainability and climate change. Jon previously led an Organisation & Change Strategy practice, specialising in transformation, culture, organisation and performance. His long held interest in large scale transformation and culture change led to innovations in mass change events and social networking. Kraken - a global creativity network which Jon created - predated Web 2.0 by over a decade. Kraken still thrives today and has been the subject of articles in business magazines and books, Prior to a consulting career, Jon studied Economics at the University of London and Mathematics at Oxford. Outside of work, Jon is married to Helen and has two young daughters. Fortunately, all three share his passion for travel, rock climbing and mountain sports. Bill Windle, PA Consulting Group With over ten years experience at senior executive level, Bill has helped major private and public sector organisations improve their performance in international, complex and secure environments. He specialises in helping clients with cyber and employee risk challenges, addressing all aspects of security architecture,

5 including security culture. He was one of the main authors of new UK government (CPNI) guidance on managing employee risk published in September Reto Haeni, Microsoft Reto Haeni has over 15 years work experience in an information security and risk focused ICT environment. He is Microsoft's Chief Security Advisor for Western Europe where he is the internal and external focal point for Security as well as Switzerland s crisis management responsible for software security incident response. He focuses on enabling business with higher than average availability and security needs and talks frequently about Cloud topics and Cybersecurity. Before joining Microsoft he held positions as Chief Information Officer, Technical Director and Program Manager. He holds two Bachelor of Science Degrees from Swiss Universities, a Master of Science Degree in Telecommunication and Computers from the George Washington University in Washington DC and a Master of Advanced Studies degree in Risk- and Crisis Management from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich (ETH Zurich). Paul Murdock, Landis+Gyr Paul Murdock is a veteran of the software industry having over thirty years of development, operational and managerial experience in both research and product organizations. For the last five years he has been working as a member of the Landis+Gyr Group CTO team consulting with Landis+Gyr R&D units around the globe on software design and technology issues.
