This hotel is located adjacent to a large regional shopping mall and a short drive from all that downtown Milwaukee has to offer! What is an Educational Consultant? An Educational Consultant is a consultant or speaker who provides services to K-12 schools and school districts. There are a wide variety of consultants and areas of expertise ranging from financial planning to curriculum writing. Your past experience as an educator has equipped you to help other schools and school districts. Why do people attend this conference? Some educators are looking to transition from working within a school to becoming a consultant. Some educators wish to keep their jobs but supplement their incomes with consulting. There are no reduced fees for partial attendance, so we encourage our guests to participate each day of an event. When will I get confirmation of my registration? Typically, confirmations are sent the same day that you register for the event. What if I'm taking someone's place at the conference? If you know in advance that you will be coming in someone's place, please call (309) and our staff will be happy to adjust the registration. If it is a last minute change, simply check in the day of the conference by picking up the original registrant's materials. The staff will correct the information in the system and prepare a new nametag. Does the price of the conference include meals or lodging? Meals - All meals listed on the schedule are provided for attendees only; meals for spouses are NOT included. Dinner on Tuesday evening is on your own. The registration price does not include lodging. We recommend that attendees stay at the event hotel if possible, to maximize networking and informal learning possibilities. Can I bring my child or nursing infant to the conference? While families are very important to us, Consultant Academy conferences are adult training events so children and infants, including nursing infants, are not permitted in any of the sessions.
